Meepit/Feepit Avatar

Thu May 05, 2005 7:58 am

The boards are saying get 3000 points in the game.
Best way to do it is to win 2 fights, then in next 2, drain CPU energy to near zero, then let him win, then win 5th round.
Do this in every fight to get max points.

Another avie I won't get, I hate the game

I find it hard to get most game avatar's although this one is VERY EASY.
All you have to do is slowly click on the z, then x, key and watch the action begin, you can win every game but slack off twice each round to get a higher score, hit them till their just about down then just keep walking into them and let them win. Have fun and enjoy the new avatar.

*grins* Defenantly one of the few game avys I can/will get. :D

I remember when the game was first released, the meepit ( or is it the feepit), couldn't attack when I was blocking... Now he can do damage... Which obviously makes things a bit harder.

It's very simple to get 3000. I got it on my second try (my first was just playing around to see the controls). I can now get about 3500. :)

Wow. I can get the 3000 easy, but I can't improve on it. Any help?

wow, this is one of the only game avs i was actually able to get. Just keep doing super attacks and the meepit can't touch you.

must learn the good combos

I got it on the second day. :D
Quite easy when you use the combinations and let the Meepit win 2 rounds out of 3 each time.

I would have had it easy if the game awarded the bonus points after each round like its supposed to. I watched my score while I was fighting and was not given the bonus points that the game said you got at the end of each round.

Anyone else having this trouble? I sent a bug report to TNT.

Here's some tips on how to do it...

I, personally customized the controls to be one key higher (a, s, d rather than z, x, c - it felt more natural).

In normal controls: Z = punch and X = kick. (you never need block, trust me). The combos are ZXZX and XZXZ. For this strategy, we're going to use the ZXZX combo. To pull off a combo quickly, hit z, wait for the punch animation to finish, then hit x, wait for the kick animation to finish, then z, and so on. The nice thing is that you don't necessarily have to hit the keys in a fairly quick sequence, you can delay between each key.

So here's what you gotta do... Start of the round, and walk slowly towards the center of the stage. While doing so, input the first three commands of the ZXZX combo. Now, start jumping with up. Your goal is to get the Meepit to jump as well. Once you get to later stages, it's practically impossible to get the Meepit to jump, so don't worry about it.

When the Meepit jumps, quickly press X (the final command of the combo) before he gets as high as you are or higher. (You want to be above him when you hit the command, if he jumps and you're on your way down, wait and jump again) When you press X, you'll pull off the special move (a rolling move). Press right while doing it just to make yourself feel like you're hitting him harder. If done properly, you should slam into him and get something like 19 points, unless you get lucky and it does the wacky thing where it gives you more points. (25 maybe?). As soon as you land, hit back, and then once you're out of range, start up the ZXZX combo again with the first three commands. Jump and repeat.

For the first two rounds, hit him 5 times this way and then let him beat you up until he wins. I've gotten up to like 130 or so points in the first round of the game, and as low as 95, so good luck. After the first two rounds, just do the combo 6 times to finish him off, do it three times and bang, you defeated him.

If you get an average of 100 points per round, there's 25 rounds you fight, each stage you complete you get a 100 point bonus, that comes out to 3000 points.

Good luck! (And no, I have no clue how to get as high as the people on the high score list, my personal high score is 3251)

Hmm, maybe there are some kind of ...special special moves? o_O

I've been trying moves with the arrows like mortal kombat but nothing seems to work. perhaps some other unlisted key can help activate the super moves

Personally I find it idiotic that someone who beats the game undefeated without losing any damage gets less points than the player who loses almost half the matches. There should be bonus points for defeating a character without losing.

While playing the game I noticed that the bonus points that you receive at the end of each stage is not added into your score correctly. I only received 100 bonus points when it said I would receive 400. :(
