Of all the quests....

Sat Jun 26, 2004 11:17 am

Well there's kitchen quest, and Jhudora's quest, Illusen, Snow Faerie, Esophagor and Edna, but which is best? Which gives out the best np? Or weapons?

Well you know the order of what you get from Illusens, and the only good thing is the Honey Potion, which is after 35 quests...

I like the snow faerie the most. I usually only do her quest if they are 2k and under, since the prize is 2k, and item, and a snowball.

Today she gave me a bag of peanuts - which is worth 55k!!

Most of the prizes I get from her are 5k +

Kitchen quests are good for stats... Also I wouldn't really do if they ask for more than 3k.

I really do the same thing shifty does... Snow Faerie ones under 2k and kitchen ones under 3k. Occasionally I'll do a brain tree quest if I get a 5np quest from the esophagor, but I only do that when I'm extremely bored. ^_^

Most of the time, the esophagor and edna aren't worth your time or np no matter how cheap their quest is.

I'm the same. If it's an expensive quest (More than 3 or 4k) then I don't bother with it. Illusen's quests are quite good, if you are able to pass Level 35.

Jhudora and Illusen win with best weapons... though they're nigh impossible to get :-\...
(illusen's staff and wand of dark faerie)

I do all the quests whenever I can...

Brain tree quests have nice potential... IF you can get two good esophagor quests.

I still haven't gotten the Edna avatar though.

I pretty much agree with everyone here, but the the kitchen cook guy hates me, so I don't bother with him. I'll only do Edna's quests if the item is under 200nps, since she give you that much back.

He's a she. Maybe your confusion is the source of your difficulties.

The esophagor is the one I have the best luck with, low priced items and good prizes (in relation to the cost of the quest) for the most part. I've completed more of his quests than any of the others, though the snow faerie comes in at a close second.

The Esophagar gives out good prizes, then again, he can be PRICEY, I got a Ice Negg from him. :o
The Island Dude
and Snow Faerie are good to.

The Chef is great if you hvae a pet which needs training(He's the best source if you only have one pet though). Taelia, is OK if the entire quest is below 3k. The Esophogar in general seems to give out some average items. However, make sure you don't have any left over "You have failed(s)" from the Brain tree. If you do-He gives you an anwser. The Witch is also alright if you are looking for toys or plushies. However, some people are cursed with key rings from her.

It says "he" in the neopedia, though that would have explained it. :P

Well, the esophagor is ok if you get cheap item requests, I bought him a deviled steak and got a Godfried the Good then bought a mashed eye potato and got a Raspberry Slushie.

Heh. Went to go do my very first Snow Faerie quests, and she asks for , among other things, a chocolate lenny on a stick. 10k by itself. Riiiiight... maybe next time.

Out of experience, don't do a quest of 2,500 NP or more :)
