sorry if it's a dumb question, but is this ever coming back? Or is it that I need a special membership card to get it?

i doubt it but who knows,just look at when they retire some games what do they do? basically do a remake of the same game so i guess it can happen but the gym has been gone for awhile

Nah, I don't think they're ever bringing it back. It's been gone for a long time. I think they figured people were making way too much NP off of it. (Which was true, but I still miss it. It gave out so much money, espicially with the membership cards.)

They might do a remake of it though. Don't know how though. Hmmm...

I'm fairly sure it was retired nearly two years ago.

It was retired over 3 years ago. They didn't take it off the site until about 1 or 1 1/2 years ago, however. It was pretty buggy, and there were some flaws with it. And since it was HTML based primarily, I don't think it's coming back. They MIGHT come up with another form, but I don't see it happening.

I wish we could still play it their are few games you can still play that still give food item, the only ones I know of are gormball and dicearoo

Ah good ole gym. Brings back so much memories. Long time ago it was one of the hottest games. Now it is nothing. Barely anyone remembers it. Haha.

It'll be nice if it can make a comeback. But it has been a long time...
