I've wondered if maybe that's there to prevent pound-hunting programs? Because, if you just click Adopt, you can keep refreshing the page. But for that, you have to refresh AND send postdata.

From what I've heard, the pound is working like the shop wiz by searching for pet names of a certain letter. And the reason that page pops up is because it there are no names for the letter its searching for.

Yeah, I've been getting that error recently when I've been lurking in the Pound No worries a quick refresh and it usually disappears, what's really frustrating is when it comes up every couple of Pound refreshes, gah!
