Beauty Contest

I remember, there used to be an option in the Beauty Contest, where you could see who was winning. Here's an example...
1. Neopets_name_here.... 5632 votes
2. Blah_blah 3468 votes
3. soigjs_sijog 1200 votes
And so on, and so on!
I haven't seen this for a long time. Is there still the option to see this?

They got rid of that several months ago, to keep it from being a popularity contest. The pets with lots of votes tend to keep getting votes, just since they're at the top.

I seem to remember something in the news quite a while back talking about it--that it was unfair, so they were eliminating it.

I don't know about not seeing the votes decreasing the infamous vote trading to be honest. I've entered my jetsam this week and have had to go to the bc board. Oy! So many topics that have things like vote for my pet and I'll vote for yours.
I had no idea what I was getting myself into with entering the bc. Hopefully he'll place - I don't think I want to go through this again. I've discovered just how much of a popularity contest this is. A bad drawing or worse, a c&p will place or win because that person is in one of the huge guilds or is "known" and really great art languishes.
It kind of would be nice if just the person who entered could see how they were doing, but at the same time, then people would be blabbing that all over the boards, so it's for the best overall.

I don't see either.... the reason I asked, if any of you are wondering, is because I want to enter one of my pets, and see how they're doing. Huh. I guess I won't be able to!
Maybe, I'll write to the Editorial asking about this.
