Forgetting to sign off...

One of my guild members was just frozen because they forgot to sign off at the library.
Someone saw they were logged in at the library and then used their account to scam others.
Do you know what the chances are getting unfrozen?
Do you know anyone to contact?

Chances are slim to none. I've seen cases like this before, and TNT has sent responses to the effect of, "It's your responsibility to log out of your account. If you don't, then you'll get frozen."

Yeah I think thats a bit of a lost case I used to forget to log off the computers all the time in year 11 when I played neo. I was VERY lucky someone didn't get into my account. I refuse to play neo on public computers now for that reason Sorry about that

I guess I'm lucky. Once I forgot to log off on a public computer in my dentist's office. And nobody touched it for 6 months.

Yeah, I've been lucky too. Waaayyy back in 2000 ( ) I played Neo soley at an internet cafe, because they had DSL and I didn't. I never logged out. Somehow I managed to never get "hacked" or frozen.

No need to be rude. Not everyone goes by the same schooling systems and terms.

I do think your friend's case is a bit of a lost cause. Not saying that they shouldn't at least give getting their account back a shot, but I wouldn't get their hopes up.

I don't think nacine was trying to be rude... I'm from the US too, and when I first read that, I thought vtothec was talking Neopian years, and I think that's what nacine thought too.

I forgot to log off on a computer, someone played on my account, I got frozen for cheating at flash games and never got it back. Good luck.
