Referals Revamp

They revamped the way they (and you) view referals. Looks good. I like the fact that they show who you refer.

Interesting. I'm up to 7 after nearly five years. Funny, the most recent referral is from yesterday. I suppose their fiddling around with the system on March 9th explains the pear drops I had gotten a couple weeks ago as a referral prize.

I don't know. It depends on how old your account is. I have 6 names listed, all but one activated, but 7 in my adjusted tally. One is from myself, but from back in 2000 before the 5 account rule, and another is listed as 1969. I think at some point the databases that held info on really old accounts just up and died.

I have 20 referrals... and I know who 5 of these people are. I guess the others joined up through a referral link I had on a webpage back in 2001/02.

Haha, on further look, I know 8 of these people. I had no idea a couple of my friends had even signed up! Looks like they haven't played since they did, though.

Not really fair, these adjustments...we have no control over how other people use or abuse their accounts, so why are our numbers adjusted when they decided to not play anymore or get frozen?

It's a referral program, not a "Bring us new members and make sure they are good people and will play every day" program.
