Mozilla Firefox has a feature called that you can install that blocks the top and bottom ads by blocking anything that certain web addresses send you. I think you can also do that in Internet Explorer.

Adblock also works in Netscape, but you have to do something different in IE (there's a topic all about it somewhere here...look around).
