Help a restocking New Member

Fri Mar 11, 2005 6:23 pm

So, I've recently been dipping my hand into restocking with little to no profits.

I usually grab books that are over 1000np and typically the markup is like 200np each.

Am I doing something wrong here? I'm just not making any profit.

Basically, research what you are buying. Hang around in the shop that you want to restock in on a couple of restocks and see what goes quickest, what its price is in the shops, and what it resells for, and then focus on buying those few items. Typically, unless you are super fast, its best to go for the items that don't have humongous profits, as those will be the first to go and you will be wasting time trying to haggle only to miss the whole restock. :) Hope this helped.

Watch a couple restocks and see what goes, and in what order. Then, try for yourself, and just guesse and check. Buy something, and if it is a profit remeber the item, and if it is a loss, remember to leave the item alone.

If you are new and learning, try restocking from other people's shops. It helps to get you familiar with prices, and you occasionally find a real steal!

Items that stock for 2,500 nps + are the best items to get. Not always profitable, but usually are. Thats the only real help anyone needs to know about restocking. There are other tips and hints, but that varies from shop to shop about knowing what to get and not. I always lose money in Usuki, so I tend not to stay there, while others are superb at it and get an ub 1/4 restocks.
