Currently, the movement/speed stat is useless in the battledome, and has been for a very long time. Since TNT seems to be critically short on ideas (as usual), I challenge you PPTers to come out with a use for it, one which is practical, balanced, and viable.
Any ideas?

Weapons that have a greater chance of stealing the more movement you have.
Slightly increased chances of a "Critical Hit", double damage for that turn

It can't be something like hitting harder, because that's strength-related. I'd say the faster your pet is, the easier it can evade damage -- it can "get out of the way" of some of an opponent's attack.

Maybe your speed you can have something to do with hitting first that way their would be no draws and the faster pet might win.

Movement is currently used with some of the brightvale robes.

I've never battled really but I've always wondered about this. Is there a "dodge attack" by any chance? It could help that.

there is a defend. speed should affect power of close attacks and dodge % of ranged attacks since all they do are give different poses as far as i know

Higher Speed=Higher Steal and/or Freeze rate
I think that would be good

They should make speed like an accuracy thing. They should add in a thing so that your attacks can miss from time to time, and that if you train speed, this will happen less often.
I also like the higher percentage of freeze/healing option too. Like they could downgrade H4k Helmets to 10% freeze, but if you train speed, then percent could go up with the boosts like defence and strength.

I was actually talking about this with my brother a little while ago. I think speed should allow you to dodge around attacks, and even possibly enable you to get 2 turns if your speed is extremely higher than your opponent. About melee and ranged attacks, they could probably just make it so using a melee attack increases your chance to hit, but also increases your chance of being hit, while using ranged attacks decreases the chances of hitting or being hit.
Heh, I can just imagine beating up stronger opponents if this happens "Oh my, you've got double my strength... too bad I trained movement and you didn't!"*dodge, dodge, SMACK!*

Then just train your movement so you don't lose

Yeah i thought abt it too.
Maybe speed has something to do with Dodge. Or the person with a Higher speed will be able to do damage first instead of the usual thing now. Maybe higher speed can also increase chances of stealing items. It can also affect someone whereby if ur speed is like 150 or above u can do 20% more damage. 160 speed can do 25% more? or so..etc

Movement does serve a purpose now, and so does intelligence. The brightvale armoury has some of it's robes that do great things if you have a high enough movement and intelligence stats. Like Crisp Blue tunic, or short sleeved yellow tunic.

Agree but it is only a small tiny percentage. Does not affect the entire situation a lot.
