umm, meerca chase?

i saw a sidebar ad for old meerca chase, so i clicked on it to find that http://www.neopets.com/games/meercachase.phtml is still active. should i play this or will i get frozed? i would assume not, since there've been 1000 plays today, but it seems. . . odd, since it went to the graveyard.

I doubt they would freeze you for playing a game that's still being advertised ...
Then again ...they're TNT ... o_O

my first account was frozen right after I submitted a score from a game that was no longer in the games list. I found a link to it on someone's guild page. I was so new, I didnt realize the game wasn't in the games list.

Oh Heck! I always play old games. I'm pretty sure you won't get busted for playing it.

Lol. I've made over 10,000 by this old game that was made way back when Neo was young. Lol

You probably won't get frozen, I always click on the sidebar ad when I see it.
EDIT: I never got frozen yet, either.

You could be fine. Then again, you could end up frozen for "taking advantage of a glitch" or "cheating on a flash game" or whatever reason they think up.

Me? I wouldn't do it, but then again, I'm paranoid.

i believe that version was moved to the game grave yard. it is still playable, but shouldn't give out NP. If you are playing and it does give out NP, I would stop and submit a bug report. If you are playing and it does not givey ou NP, enjoy!

It's still working fine, and TNT know it. Before, that meercachase.phtml link was a redirect to MC2, however, now it is taken off and is playable again.

Plus, I got the avatar from it for 750 points just last week, so I think it's fine

You can play games in the graveyard still, so I don't think anything bad will happen from the link, Chia Bingo is/was active for a long time and people played it and never heard of any of them getting frozen.

I've noticed that the links to those games still worked, but I never tried to play any of them. You probably wouldn't get frozen for playing it, but still, its better to be safe than sorry.

It used to be playable in the graveyard, but wouldn't let you send your score or give you any NP. Also, as winter said, the meercachase.phtml link redirected you to Meerca Chase 2. Now the link takes you to the old one again and you get NP for playing. It must be intentional (maybe they realized a lot of us were having problems with the second one because it doesn't run well on our older computers or something). I've been playing for a while with no issues.

Cranberry, now that's something I didn't think of ... maybe giving those of us with older/slower computers a chance since the newer version is, IMO, buggy. Now if they're going to do that, they should do the same with Kiko Match - the new version is just about unplayable for me, even with the animation turned off.
