Neopian Times - out with the old, in with the blue.

Neopets changed the look of the neopian times again... now its not bright gold colored anymore, its blue!

it looks a bit wierd, but thats just because im not used to it i think.... i DO think its a rather pretty shade of blue, though!

I like the change, it's a "peaceful" blue color, not bright like yellow...more mellow.

I hope it stays like that...but that's just me. *shifty eyes*

I like the change, but frankly, I think that they should put relevant information into their paper rather than new colours.

The Editorial which used to be the only way to get suggestions addressed by the staff has now worn out and we're ignored altogether.

It looks...weird. Its not bad, just...different. I suppose I'll get used to it after a while.

It's okay...I guess. It's kind of surprising. Although I do think the blue makes the gold Neopian Times logo stick out though.

Agreed. I think the logo needs tweaking. But yeah, it looks nice in blue!

I don't like it. It was better in yellow, because it matched the rest of the site (and top logo). Now it just looks weird. But I agree it's easier on the eyes..

Plus I through in a compliment. I said I liked it! I have no problem giving credit where credit is due. I also have no problem calling people on where they significantly fall short.

I doubt that. When they have hardly enough resources to address the complaints of those that have been frozen due to hyperactive mod bots, they don't have time to read every little "I DUN LYKE THE DARIGAN POOGLE!!!!!11!!" email, let alone through the detailed, thought out suggestions that letters that many users put forth. In fact, it is only on a good day that someone can expect an automated response, let a lone an equally well thought out personal answer from the Team.

When they put suggestions in the editorial, it is no longer just a post-it note on somebody's computer. It becomes a promise to the user. If they say "We Will Do This" we, in turn, expect them to come through. If they are unable to deliver even after public statements, why would they even bother trying on suggestions that are unknown except by the alleged reader from the Team and the user who suggested it.
