Card of the Day - Isca?

While reading the card of the day today, I came across this phrase.

She is a simple Maraquan Aisha who lost her parents in that terrible whirlpool a couple of years ago.

Now, hold up - - I'm confused here. I thought the Pets didn't have parents - correct me if I'm wrong.

OUR pets can't have parents, but stories/plots pets somehow can. Look around the neopedia. Some stories involves neopets with parents.

Some stories does have parent and son/daughter thingy.

I figure it's one of those things TNT keep changing. Half the time pets have parents, the other half they're hatched.

What weirds me out is that Jeran (who is a Lupe) can have an Aisha sister (Lisha), and Morguss (who is a Moehog) can have an Aisha daughter (Court Dancer) O_o

Unless, of course, two neopets decide to have a kid and hatch one from an egg or something...

I think I've confused myself...well, it's 1am ;P I'm allowed to be confusing.

But, while we shouldn't have parents/sons neopets, I think it is allowed to have brothers/sisters ones. There's nothing wrong in the idea having of brother/sister neopets...well, right?

The user is normally the parent but since a pet is a parent...
The plot characters aren't ordinary pets after all

How can a Kacheek have a Korbat and a Cybunny for a kid?

I -think- what they mean was:

If a Neopet has parents, it just so happens the Neopet was created and the 'parent' Neopets happened to be there at the same time.

Also, the fact that she LOST her parents - for us, Neopets don't die, so maybe she actually misplaced them.

It would be cool to see an actual -owner- in a plot comic or story. Have they ever featured an actual owner/human in one? I think the most humanlike creature they ever show in plots are faeries...

Aodption. No one is biolgoical related to anyone becuase like grundos all pets are created from plastics in breeding grounds. They are then assinged brothers, sisters, moms, dads, ect.. all randomly. We saw it in the lost dessert with king coltzan having an ashia princes(or was it acara, I forget). its nothing new

Truth be told her mother went to the lab ray and got changed into a Lenny. Too ashamed to return the mother flew away...
