Unattachable petpet...what do i do

i know that all of yoy are going to say " CHANGE THE LANGUAGE!!!"
....i tried that, and for languages like portugese, spanish and french where they use the alphabet, it still doesnt work,
so i tried a language which im assuming is like Japanese or chinese because i cant see it on my computer so everythng turnes out as ???? ???? ???? ???...i attached my petpet...(it worked) BUT whenever i go to my quick ref it goes like "no name the ???"...and it looks really strange....does anyone know what to do?

You have a few options :

One - live with the weird name

Two - Unequip it and get a new petpet

Three - Paint it while it's equipped then unequip it and equip it in English (You can paint it back if you want)

If you have more than one pet that lacks a petpet, try attaching it to another pet. If that/those one(s) won't accept it either, sell it or store it for the packrat avatar.

Four - Change your browser encoding to read Chinese/Japanese (not that it will be of any help if you don't understand them though )

i cant change my browser encoding to japanese to chinese for some weird reason...does any one know if it is reportable to use language as a way to attach petpets? i dont think it is but it just looks like im doing something wrong when it says ''no name the ???"

You could name your petpet '???' so it will say '??? the ???'

I have a slorg equipped to a pet as ???. In about two months I'll let you know if you can get the avatar that way.
