I've often wondered if sometimes the editorial was "sugared up". Like many of you have said in the past, I've noticed a large amount of pointless questions get answered but the real question get avoided...(as in where our winter sidebar went, etc.)
I ran into someone on the neoboards who was in the recent editorial, and what they had to say shocked me.
They were kind enough to allow me permission to use their name and screenies and tell their story...so here they are. I wonder, was it a mistake, or...?

Ahhh, but there's nothing we can do about it you see. TNT have a nice little loohole they've made in their T&C
It goes something like "Any and all material submitted to the neopets.com website becomes property of neopets inc. and can be used in any way we deem fit."
Or something to that extent. I would quote it, but I'm not in the mood to go rule hunting. Anyway, that basically means that TNT can change your simple like-
"Hey! What Happened to our sidebars?!"
into something like
"OMG! LyKE TeLL Me What HappEn 2 Muzic iN MJB!!!11eleven"
whilst you recieve countless neomails stating
"Thanks a lot loser! You wasted a spot in the editorial!"
and when you neomail TNT you get
-nothing-
or possibly
"WE at TNT are able to alter any material you send us. So tough! Live with it!""
That basically sums it up.

Wow, straight out of Orwell's 1984 that is.

TNT has exhibited their inclination of picking cutesy or pointless questions over more mature ones. I never thought they were creating it themselves. Of course, there could have been a mistake, you should ask that person to send a question to TNT.

Ok, first we had Adam telling the truth to everyone, and it was good.
And now this. Refusing to tell the truth is one thing, but changing what we ask? I had a few questions to ask the editorial, but now I wonder what the point is.

Or, they just post questions and don't answer them.
Please help me if possible...Im an avid stock fan although ive yet to actually participate. This changed recently (almost) because Im a huge fan of achyfi and wanted to purchase ACFI only to find it not available. Is there a reason as to why when you guys posted it as a new item last week? - pontiacinf

This is stupid, making up questions and putting some random username next to it, what's next?
This has got me wanting to neomail everyone who's had a question in the Editorial and ask if it was in fact the question they asked.
If this isn't some mix up (they have accidentally put the wrong name next to some contest entries before) I can't believe TNT is doing this.

Giving a bit of the benefit of the doubt, there could also be a problem with the submission form lining up the wrong names with the wrong questions.

*nodds* Yes, they've had some problems with the Picture Contest and the Random Contest before now.

I sent a question to the editorial a while back and it was answered. It was my question, word for word, so perhaps this was just a mistake.

I love how as soon as something goes wrong, everyone just jumps to the worst possible conclusion. I've had questions answered in the Editorial at least 3 times and all the time they were word-for-word my question.
There are better explanations for this:
1) The person is lying because they are embarassed that people think they are uncool for asking such a pointless question.
2) The editorial submission form messed up the names.
But of course, everyone is so quick to claim that Donna makes up questions.
Yes, she sometimes picks really pointless questions, but that's because they get so many pointless questions, not because they make them up to avoid answering better questions (though they do seem to avoid answering better questions, but I don't think they make them up).

Donna probably made a mistake and mixed up the usernames when she picked the pointless question, that's all.

Well I think we established ages ago that TNT are a bunch of satanists. I don't see why it should be a surprise at all. Just don't waste time sending more questions.

Balanced and intelligent answers such as this one truly make this game worth playing.
Anyway, how many people say that they have been unfairly frozen everyday? Quite a few, yes? And how many have ACTUALLY been unfairly frozen? The answer wouldbe around 1/5. I have no statistics, of course, but most of the time, people are just lying in order not to be demoralized in their groups (that's called cowardice, BTW). This person is most likely doing that. Which might not be the thruth. It might have happened, who knows? But if TNT was to manipulate the editorial, they would use a proeminent but dead account, don't you think? They are smart enough to run a site as big as Neopets, so it figures that they are smart enough not to do something so dumb.
