Can TNT Send pets? o_O

Thu Feb 10, 2005 12:25 am

Okay. Well, lookup Snarkie, she use to have a Robot Lupe named LupeSkywalker. Well, she moved him to her other account. But yet the account says shes not logged in for over 89 days.. and its been way less then 89 days since she had the Lupe moved.. How can this be? Do you think TNT can actually send pets without using the pound? o-O If so, its not fair.

She probably used a way. Everyone has a way. I tried it with my Fire Shyrou but he got lost in transition.

...stalker :P j/k (their accounts can be interesting to watch, yeah)

They probably can. But let's look at this another way...they also have customized fields on their accounts, so maybe she masks the logged in bit to throw snoops off.

If they do move pets, it's totally fair. They run the site. Who knows, maybe Snarkie was testing a pet transfer system or testing some aspect of the site to make sure she got it coded right.

Yeah, they can. I had a friend whose lupe was stolen by a hacker, and one of TNT's support staff members gave it back to her.

I don't think it's unfair though. They're TNT. *shrug*

I wish I knew that!

As far as I know they've always been able to do that. I mean, they are TNT, they have the source code for everything lol!

Adam has been known to "borrow" other staff members pets at time. I think back in year 2 or three the literally fought over some pets. (still do occasionally.)

when it says when you haven't logged on, that means when you actually log on. if you don't log off of a pc then you are still logged on and that means that when you go on neopets it won't say you have logged on.

Very true. So, if you never log off of Neopets (some people do, but I don't understand the reasoning), it will give the last date that you went from logging off to logging onto Neopets.

So, Snarkie must have went from log off to log on status 89 days ago and hasn't logged off since.

Actually the Last Spotted feature means that you haven't not been seen in that account for x amount of days. You don't need to re-login for it to update itself.

What if they couldn't?
Maybe when someone got there pet back that was taken away might have mis-transfered a bit.
Maybe TNT said something like "You give that pet back to us or we will freeze your account if you don't! And don't tell anyone about this message! Or we will freeze you!"
Or maybe not.

Really? That's odd..I never log out and when I do somethign on my account then it says last seen under one day ago..I think I remember them saying something about this on the news..it's the same for my friends' accounts too.

They changed that feature. It used to be "Last logged in" and marked when you logged in, but since so many people didn't log out, they changed it to "Last Spotted" meaning when you were last active in the account. It sometimes doesn't work though. But it was in the News.

Also, didn't some of the staff transfer Featheralley or something? Since the price would have been amazing or something.
