Game Trophies on Gallery Accounts??

Is playing games, especially when trophies are involved, allowed in gallery accounts?? I just noticed that the highest ranked player in Chemistry for Beginners has her trophy on a secondary gallery account. Although her user lookup is in German, it's pretty clear that it's not her main account, which she has a link to. I thought we couldn't play games for NPs or trophies on more than 1 account. Has that been changed lately??

I stick strictly to the rule of NO NP MAKING on gallery accounts. This means game play. I guess you can still get trophies for avatars (if you don't play games) or something like spotlights.

Although not everyone is as strict as I am about the rules. I have no wish to be frozen again.

As far as I know you are not supposed to play games on anything other than your main account. But not many people seem to follow that rule.... especially in the monthly contests.....

Yes, but a while back, you WERE allowed to play games on gallery accounts, as long as you didn't transfer that NP to your main. I even wrote TNT asking about that, and they said it was ok. So, they could have gotten the trophy back when it was still legal.

Then the rules are very shady indeed... does that mean that no transfers of np between accounts are allowed? That's ridiculous.

Transferring np form your main to your gallery account should be allowed if you don't use it to make more money through restocks. But i read somewhere that you can restock on other accounts since that money doesn't come out of thin air or something

Actually, you can't. I'm very sure restocking is not allowed on multiple accounts; I believe TNT addressed that question before.

If playing games on multiple accounts are allowed, but the np gained cannot be transferred, that must mean that all np cannot be transferred between accounts, since there is no way of ascertaning which np comes from where.

And since most accounts are used as galleries and such, transferring of np and items (items can be sold for np) is inevitable. In such case, the whole rule system is ridiculous. People should not be allowed to play games on multiple accounts, period.

I transfer my NP and items to a spare account that no one knows of. So if I'm hacked, I have no money. (And I mean hacked as in my computer is hacked )

4. Do not create any new Neopets or accounts if you are not going to take care of them. You cannot have multiple accounts just to get more Neopoints or items. You are only allowed a maximum of five (5) accounts and can earn Neopoints with only one (1) account. Users who break this rule can have all of their accounts frozen.

Do not use your other accounts to attempt to gain an unfair advantage over other users by restocking, gaining trophies, etc.

Some thoughts of mine:

1. There are two logicals explanations why someone would have a trophy on a gallery account. First, the gallery account may have been the main account at one time. Then the person decided to create a new main account and make the old main account their gallery. I did just that about a year and a half ago. So, I have trophies on my gallery account--old trophies, but they are still there.

Second, no one says that you cannot use your gallery account as your main account. Several people in my guild do that. They only have one account and use it to play games/get freebies and house their gallery. TNT doesn't say you can't play games on your gallery account--it says you can't play games on more than one account. If you only have one account and that account is your main and your gallery, then you can play games/get freebies on it.

2. Contrary to prior postings, you cannot restock on more than one account. It is right there in the terms and conditions. However, you can resell on more than one account--that one was in the news a few years ago.

3. Playing games on more than one account is a big no-no. Once again, right there in the terms and conditions. You cannot earn nps on more than one account--which means the games and the freebies.

4. As far as I can see, there is nothing wrong with transferring nps and items between accounts. As long as you aren't transferring 14 million every other day. I have had a big plushie gallery for over two years now. The only way I can upgrade the shop size and feed my pets is if I periodically give that account some nps. My shop size is now 140--so I have had to transfer many, many nps to it in the past two years. Same with the plushies--I have almost 700. So, I have done a lot of transfers to that account over the two year period. And, so far, nothing bad has ever happened to me. I am sure that TNT realizes that if they allow galleries, but don't allow "earning nps" on more than one account, the only way the galleries can survive is if the main account sends it stuff every so often.

If you look at the High Score Tables for Chemistry for Beginners, you'll see Floogy5000 and Floogy5001. I kind of doubt that the names are a coincidence..

Ah, then, Sierra, my guess is that they are cheating. They may not know it (but should), but eventually it should catch up to them. You would think they'd figure out that multi-accounting just isn't worth the risk of losing both accounts--particularly a gallery. Some people just think they can beat the system, I guess.

I think you can earn trophies on your side account as long as you only have one account up on the highscores and as long as you don't play the game on both accounts on the same day o.o

Doesn't matter about playing the same game, etc. No games, No trophies, No restocking on other accounts - period. There is a possibility that this person got an autoform reply saying it was ok to play games on other accounts - those still do get sent out from time to time. So it doesn't mean that person's cheating - they are just going by what they were told?

Even though the rules state that you can't play games or do dailies on other accounts. I don't know, maybe this person is German and the T&C translation is even hazier than the English version? Or German support is giving different answers?

Oh, and recently people have been getting emails from support saying NO shops on other accounts! Only one account can have a shop. That was big news to me, but I've seen ss on a few different petpages of emails from support saying this.

So I guess the only way to support a gallery or lab or guild account is by using the tp and sending np/food/items over to that account for whatever is needed.

It's beginning to look like the only thing you can do on other accounts is use the healing springs - and the free pet day training (waits for TNT to decide that's a no-no)

I can see the rationale behind that if TNT implemented that rule, since shops take np to upgrade, even more so at higher shop sizes, so having shops on multiple accounts may be deemed as cheating. After all, a person who has two galleries on two accounts will need to fork out less for upgrading shop size than a person who combines the two same galleries in one account.

+I think the whole 'transfering money' issue only looks suspicious when you have five 'extra' accounts sending money to one main account. They expect to see money going to a gallery account that does not MAKE money.
