Brain Tree Challenger

I'm having difficulty getting the Brain Tree as a challenger. All the sites I'm looking at say I need to complete his quest. I completed one (at the cost of 20,000 np) and I got no random event and DoN says that he's still "At Large". Is it random after completing a quest, or am I missing something?

Hmm, I got the challenger after the first time I completed his quest! Perhaps I was just lucky?

Check the BD anyway. I am constantly getting DoN to say my opponent is still at large, but it is almost always ready for me to fight. Not sure why and I haven't actually filled out a bug report on it because I'm very lazy lately...

I think "Still at Large" just means that you haven't beaten him yet

Ah, thanks for clearing that up. You were right, I do have him as a battledome challenger. I simply didn't get the event that says I had him after completeing the quest. I might have had him from a quest before and not known it.
