Spare account

my friend (real life) gave up on the site and just gave me his account with his pw. he told me that he only had about 300k or so on it so it wasn't much. if i sent the np from that account to mine, would i be in the risk of getting frozen or something? should i just disable the account?

I think it would be even more suspicous(sp?) if you disabled it righ away.. just let the account float off into the history of neopia by never ever signing into again...

Just keep the password incase your friend ever wants to play again...

Of course this all just my thoughts, who knows what lurks in the hearts of TNT...

I would continue to visit and care for the pets (maybe once a week) on said spare account, then there should not be a problem. Do not play games and such on the spare. I never had a problem with it (well, until i started to go to a cyber cafe and got frozen).

I think you should buy something with the 300k and send it to your main account.

If you're really paranoid, send a Neomail from that account from ANOTHER computer saying congratulations on something and heres a gift.

Or wait till your birthday and send it over...

300k isn't enough to risk your account over in my opinion. 3 mil would be something to consider, but not 300k. If I were you, I'd leave his account there, and log in every four months or something to stop his account from being disabled or something. That way, if he decides to to start again, he'll have 300k. Or if he gives it to someone else who wants to start playing, that way you can't be blamed for multi-accounting.

Or set it up as a gallery and use the 300,000 to start it off. Its risky sending stuff from one account to another, if you do decide to do it i suggest buying something and using the trading post to transfer. Or put alot of junk in your shop priced at 50k or something and buy them from the spare account.

yeah, was guilty of being frozen and I feel like crap, but my sis was honestly innocent for it and i feel even worse about that. drop it here ok, no replied on this?

Why not just go through the trading post? Set up an omlette on your account and trade it for the 300k.

I've done that a few times with people I was giving gifts to.

If you move anything, use the trading post. Make a lot, offer the 300K. And wait a while before you accept the offer.

Thats what I do when I transfer stuff around.. and im still here. :roll:

My friend been selling me stuff, or giving me things, for free for awhile. Almost 2 years he had his account. He just like playing the games and stuff. Maybe you can send your self a neomail from the account saying I am done with neopets and stuff so I want to give you my np before I close the account, something like that. Heck you can send me 100k if you want, lol.

It a shame it just not easy thing to anwser. 300k very had to pass up, plus what ever items he may have had. Also Risky your account being frozen is very hard to ignore also.

i've done that before, through the TP, when my sister left neopets. it was about 150k, and nothing happened to me. at the time i had no idea that it could even be a problem, so i would have been so shocked to be frozen for it!
