Increase in official shop size.

Fri Jan 28, 2005 4:19 pm

Previously, Neopets shops only held a maximum of 24 items.

I just saw the toy shop with 33.

This is an interesting way to combat inflation....

Huh, I never knew that they had an actual shop size... =\

Anywho, yeah, I suppose its still a good way to deal with inflation...

Very interesting, I didn' tknow that. It's a shame it doesn't go up to 50 like our invetory does

*Pay no attention to my Signature anyone ;) *

Yup. Great idea for neo to implement :) Now maybe the economy will be better

if so then how big is the food shop now? up to 100? (it says 3x as much)

Fri Jan 28, 2005 5:14 pm

No, that's been in the food shop forever. I think the shops may have at one time only held 8 items at a time.

I don't know the maximum size. It might be fifty.

I honestly didn't know/never noticed the shops having a certain size oe stocking a certain number of items. I just thought it was somewhat random. Shows how much I pay attention. :P

Might just be a by-product of all the funky things going on with the restocks this morning.

I have seen that the cheaper the item, the more items I see. I have to say that I belive I have seen a max of 24 items, lol. The problem is the rarer the item, the less in shop. It very hard to explain, lol.

Not 24 maximum items in the shop, but 24 different types of items.

Fri Jan 28, 2005 8:49 pm

No no no, that what i ment one item has 24 is the stock. I have also seen the more in the stock, like 24, cost more to haggle then if they carry 16, lol.

Ah yes, now I see what you mean. Yes, that is because generally, rarer items are set to cost more in the Neopets database. And because they are rarer, they don't stock as much, and when they do stock, fewer of them appear.

At least we are in the same area, lol. Either way you see it, it confusing, lol. I just love how BD items, cost like 5k to haggle from the shop, and the wiz sell them for 300np, lol.
