I hate the way they do that, they drew the war out long and pointlessly and got so bored of they were just like.....eamon's song..... we cant be bothered to do anything, forget about "The Three" lets just do something else.

Doubt it... Battle for Meridell was allready a follow-up to the previous Meridell war. Although some plot holes from the previous storyline were quickly patched up with cheap duct tape and some still remain, I think they won't go back to patch it up again and just forget about it.
