The exact name of it is Secret Laboratory Map, all nine peices are named the same so its a bit annoying to find the lowest price.

The entire set will cost you about 550k.

Technally, a lab ray would be cheaper in the long run, but if you're an advanced battler, I wouldnt use it on the "battling" pet. But it does give some nice colors though.

I actually have been able to buy them (for me and my brother) for around 480k. Just make sure to look around and stay away from the places that sell more than one of the pieces, as they usually charge more than those who sell them individually.

so far I have found 3 from RE. I could sell them for 50k but right now, I am 3 more closer to my packrat avatar(The one that seem like me the most.) I wont use it though, I am to afriad of the bad, to use it for the good, lol.

Ya... the prices of the lab has inflated a lot! Went from like 50-100k a set.. to 200k, 220k, 300k, 500k! lol. Secret Laboratory Map is the name... if not type Laboratory in trading block and get the name.

WOW they have been inflated, just about 8 months ago I finished mine for about 120K.

Anyway I would say at 550k it's not really worth it compared to training unless you have a lab rat to use it on or you want some of the colours you can only get from the lab ray. Since it's also possible to lose stats

O.o Well, I never really wanted to train at either academy because I was collecting codestones to throw at random people and dubloons to set up as a trap for the pant devil ^^ but the lab ray has helped alot and cut a lot of training expense...annoying is the gender, species, and stat loss though

Yes, if you wish for a lot of hp and strength, get the map. It'll make you level very low and really hurt your defence also but it can give you some cool colours

What!?! I got mine for 375k + a lab piece+ 3 anubis= 450k. 100k cheaper than the 550k. And this was today.
