Sponsor games are just another name for the advertisements. These games will say down the bottom Advertisement. I find the best way to play games you can't find is to look up the games list of the person telling you about the game, that way you can click into the game and play it. Or randomly look up someones games list.

Just go to the Games Room and look for those games that appear to be advertising a movie, an album, or a product. It seems that most of the sponsor games are in the Action section. They are always changing, probably because a sponsor signs up for a certain number of days of advertising. So you have to keep your eyes open for the new games and not get too attached to any one game because it probably won't be around for long.

Some of the sponsor games on Neo right now are Angler Action, Chocolate Lucky Charms Mine Car Chase, CTC Downhill Speed Demon, Racing Stripes, and Secret Image.

Usually, Neo has some games that advertise a singer/group's new album--particularly Disney label ones--but there don't seem to be any around right at the moment. Those give out a lot of points for relatively no effort. A Music Bistro was just taken off the site. It had three games within it--each one featuring a different musician, album or Disney-related theme. My guess is that it will be back.
