PLEASE HELP! What does it mean when it's your Pets Day??

Hi everyone!!
Hehe!! I am a bit nervous... THis is my very first post here and so please bear with me!!
I have a beautiful Aisha, and noticed that in the Neopian calendar it says that January 3rd is Aisha Day; What does that mean??
Do they have anything cool for Aishas that day??
Where can I take my Aisha to redeem the goodies??
Any freebies for her?
Any secrets I should know of??

On a pet's day, that species can get free training all day at the Swashbuckling Academy.

It means that aishas will get free training in the academy ( http://www.neopets.com/pirates/academy.phtml ) for the day and that a few new aisha colors, new items and some other aisha stuff will be released on that day. Oh and aishas will get 3 or 2 battledome abilities that they can only use for that day.

Hey, welcome to PPT! 
Well, usually on pet days they release alot of things that are related to the species of the current pet day. They will release some Aisha themed food (definately), maybe some new furniture and/or toys, release some new aisha colors, will have a special art gallery showcased full of Aisha day pictures, and you and your Aisha(s) will get FREE training at the Swashbuckling Academy. Sometimes new backgrounds are added, as well as caption contests related to the current species.
Unfortunately, except for the training, you get no other freebies. Although it is quite fun to partake in the celebrations by seeing what sort of themes TNT comes up with.
