oh, great... Neoboard Nerds learned how to type invisible...

Fri Jun 18, 2004 12:24 am

The Other worlds chat is going through another faze.... somebody learned a code of how to type invisible or something, and now half the topics are simply titled " "... posted by 'Insertusername' and then half the people are like "omg whats the code!?!!?!?!" and the other half are making up lies... and then the 1-month olds *who accuse everybody of scamming* are reporting people "scamming" when they post in invisible font. greaaaaaat....

this is almost as annoying as the username thing.. remember when you could type in "%user%" or something and it would show the username of whoever was reading it? So every board i read said "The Wonder Weezel is a loser" "the wonder weezel come here" "The Wonder Weezel Scammed me..." and all the New Member said "why are you all saying my name!??!" and all the 1-months went report crazy again :? .... anyway, that was an old fad. now, invisi-type is all the rage... :x

They go through this every few months. I give it 3 days before TNT catches on and disables it or people get tired and eventually stop by themselves.

It's crazy in the neoboards, I go there every time I want to laugh! Still, there is a good thing to the invisible boards, at least you don't have to read the pointless chatspeak board topics anymore.

haha, actually, it's pretty darn funny. I do believe I know how to do it, it's probably along the same lines as the Jelly World trick. Now I just have to figure out how to get into the topic.

Reminds me of the second day that my Mom had a neopets account, she went to the neoboards and saw her name everywhere and freaked out. she didn't pick up on it, but I did--It was the visitors code from petpages

I'll never forget her calling me and freaking out over how all thes epeople got her name.

actually, thats the only reason i saw it.. its quite sad, really.. when im bored, i entertain myself by going to the other worlds chat and see what fights they are starting, whos blaming who, what scams pop up, and whos annoying the crap out of everybody.... :?

Heh I think neoboards were put on neopets to make us laugh... Because they seem to make me laugh a lot!

Fri Jun 18, 2004 12:54 am

I remember when you could type %user% ... every New Member was like "What happened why is every oen talkign about me?" it was hilarious ... for the first second i saw it i was like wha? and then i caught on in another milisecond ...

I barely ever go on the neoboards anymore, everyone's so rude! Seriously, you ask for an opinion, and they start giving so much harmful critisism. :x

The OW boards have unofficially becom the new GC boards. I feel sorry for the original OW chatters, the spamming's getting pretty bad there. :?

Hmm, it's actually harder than I thought, it's not the same as the Jelly World trick. Oh well. *goes off to find invisible topics and post in them*

I wish TNT would get rid of all the NeoBoards. There is no intelligent life there except for a few special people.

I hate invisible text... that's all I can muster without breaking millions of forum rules.

I got the invisable text by accident. I was using a glow/shadow font and one day it didn't work anymore and my font was invisable. I thought it was a glitch!

OMG, I remember when the #USER and #PETNAME codes worked!

"Will the owner of -insteryouractivepetsname- come here?"

Then everybody would argue over who owned the pet.

Fri Jun 18, 2004 1:24 am

Lol, that was funny! When I first saw that, I freaked out, until I figured out the trick :P

Unfortunately, there's always going to be people who go out of their way to annoy others. And they can all be found on the Neoboards.
