Uh, oops.

Thu Dec 30, 2004 4:12 am

Um, it seems as though I copied all the HTML at the bottom of the "edit pet page" screen to my "edit pet's page" input box, and now it won't go back.

I'm not sure how to put it back, because when the code was taken, the button went with it. I really did it this time '''>.>

Odd. I'd say file a bug report.

Thu Dec 30, 2004 4:15 am

Erm... have you tried pressing Reset? Or replacing it with something?
(Of course you have)

Try replacing the text slowly? Like a part at a time?

Thu Dec 30, 2004 4:18 am

Um, there is no "Reset" button anymore X.X That went with the "edit" button and the contact us, safety tipcs, etc.- anything that was involved in coding the entire bottom half of the page.

Thu Dec 30, 2004 4:29 am

Maybe the code that you inserted OVERLAPPED the page's bottom code? Maybe you should replace the code bit by bit like water said if deleting all of it won't work.

The code is now in my petpage, but what I'm saying is that it is GONE from the "Edit HTML Source" page, meaning that I can no longer modify it.

OH WOW! I can only say Bug Report.

Thu Dec 30, 2004 7:33 am

I'll try working it through a bit with Dreamweaver and see if i can find anything to fix it. Could you PM me the entire source of the page that is stuffed please? If I can't do it then sorry but I'll give it a shot.

So do I ... :battar:
And if I were you, I'd report it straight away, because I scare easily when it comes to HTML tricks going wrong. X.x;

Strange, I checked the source of the page, and everything appears to be in order! And yet, when I look at it, things just get cut off after the edit box:

Do petpages get reset when a pet goes into the pound? If so, you could disown and readopt your own pet to at least get the page cleared. If you did that, you'd have to either use two browsers, or have someone help you. But if you follow the directions at TNO (refreshing at the adopt link: http://www.neopets.com/process_adopt.ph ... me=PETNAME), transfers are pretty safe.

And if petpages don't get cleared.. well.. ignore me.
