Need Help With Mootix Warrior

Tue Dec 21, 2004 4:52 pm

Hi, I haven't been posting much ever since, PPT was reset, a lot of months ago.

So how do I beat this guy? Does he actually use those Mootix items (ie Mootix Eraser, Mootix Sofa)? If he doesn't, does that mean he basically have 4 weapons? Is it worth stealing the Ice Dice?

Here are my stats:
Health : 394 / 394
Mood : unhappy
Hunger : very hungry
Strength : LEGENDARY (131)
Defence : EXCELLENT (55)
Move : ULTIMATE (161)

Weapons:
Sword of Skardsen
Portable Kiln
Jade Scorchstone
Sticky Snowball
Downsize!
Freezing Potion
Green Sticky Hand
Honey Potion

I got lucky and barely beat the Giant Chomby, but this guy looks tougher than the Chomby (Faerie Slingshot!).

If you can give me advice for Kastraliss too, that would be great, incase I do beat this Mootix. :P

Up your defence, or you won't beat anyone, 55 won't cut it, and get a better defence, can't help you there.

Stuff can go wrong with this set up. I lost and drew to the Snow Beast with all these items before I won. The Giant Chombie nearly KO'ed me too. I was left with about 120 HP left. He hit me with 270ish damage in 1 shot. Seasonal Attack Pea + SOS + Berserk. Luckily, he got killed by his own berserk.

That would be almost impossible for me, since this is a lab pet. I would have to train it's level to 197, then start training defence. It's current level is 27, which means I have to train 170 levels. :o That would cost me a fortune. I'm only left with 1.3M NP now.

I don't really rely on defence much. The only defence I use is Sink and Burrow. I spent most my money on offensive items. Defence doesn't seem to affect Sink or Burrow, so there's no point.

That Faerie Slingshot really scares me. And its armor looks like it's going to be a pain.

Does he try to attack people with it's Mootix Sofa, Erasers, etc.? If so, that would be easier than I thought.

Use bomberry exlir, it's cheap and trains defence pretty well.

Wow...Bomberry Elixir is at least 55k. I'm too cheap to buy something that expensive and has 25-30% chance of success.

I just risked it and tried battling him. It seems he doesn't use those Erasers, Lamps, etc.

What would you guys suggest I do each move? I got him down to 58 HP, and he used his Armor!!! I ran out of Power, and low on HP, so I withdrew, that's the closest I got to killing him. Here's what I do, if you guys got a better strategy, tell me:

1st move: Green Sticky Hand + Freezing Potion + Burrow (withdraw if GSH missed, or if he freezes me)
2nd move: Ice Dice + Sword of Skardsen + Drain Life (withdraw if Ice Dice doesn't freeze)
3rd move: Ice Dice + SOS + Fierce Attack (withdraw if doesn't freeze)
4th move: SOS + Honey Potion + Fierce Attack
5th move: SOS + Portable Kiln + Sink (no power left) (withdraw if health is low)
6th move: SOS + Downsize! (this move should KO him, if he doesn't use his armor)

EDIT: Wow, first time his Faerie Slingshot did full damage to me. 164 damage with berserk, and I used burrow. I hate to see what the damage is with his spear + slingshot + berserk.

He has the mootix things so you don't steal anything good, so don't steal, and he has about a 21% chance of using his armour, and has only four items that really work:Mootix Warrior Armour, Mootix Warrior Spear, Faerie Slingshot, Ice Dice. You'd have tou use a tornado ring ALOT to get anything good.

Thu Dec 23, 2004 3:57 pm

I know I can steal the Ice Dice. I would be able to defeat him if I can survive all those rounds to steal all his stuff. :roflol:

It seems the only way to defeat him is to get insane luck and multi-freeze him like 4 consecutive times. I have horrible luck with that.

Use daimond dust and firey gaze, cut out drain life, it's a waste.

I'm trying your diamond dust/fiery gaze strategy now. I haven't successfully got both to freeze in the same battle yet. I will be gone for 4 days starting today with no Internet access, so I'll try again when I come back.

1) Steal its ice dice
2) Kastraliss is easier than Mootix as far as I am concerned
3) Portable kiln isnt very effective...try getting a multiple icons attack such as Wand of Reality or Bow of Destiny

The fight goes like this:
1. Green sticky hand + Freezing potion
2. Ice dice + SoS
...

2) How is Kastraliss easier? He has 400 HP and freezes and full heal.
3) I don't have enough NP to afford such weapons. :(

So the whole fight depends on the Ice Dice? I can't get that thing to freeze more than 2 times.

EDIT: Aghh, I got him to 24 HP and he nearly killed my with 285 of damage.

NO! NO! Do not, repeat, do NOT let your power reach 0! If you do, your attacks will do considerably less damage and you'll be more prone to it! Burrow and sink are important, but cut out drain life. I may not have faced him yet, but you don't have to be a top battler to know that you should NEVER let your power reach 0! Sorry to be so dramatic, but it is VERY important that you know this!

OK, I found a new strategy where it doesn't matter if my power reaches 0 or not.

1. Green Sticky Hand + Freezing Potion + Burrow
2. Ice Dice + SOS + Drain Life (assuming 1st turn steals and doesn't use Faerie Slingshot + Mootix Spear + Berserk, else withdraw)
3. Ice Dice + SOS + Fierce Attack (assuming 2nd turn freezes, else withdraw)
4. SOS + Honey Potion (assuming 3rd turn freezes, else withdraw)
5. SOS + Downsize! + Sink (285 damage even with Downsize! + Sink, if he uses his Faerie Slingshot + Mootix Spear + Berserk)

If he uses berserk on me on the 5th turn, he's dead for sure. Unless he uses his Mootix Armor, then I guess I have to retry. He's been using his Mootix Armor when I got to the 5th turn a lot. It's as if he knows he'll be KO'ed if he doesn't use it.

I know you guys say I shouldn't use Drain Life, but it does 40 damage to him.

Is it just me or is the Green Sticky Hand not stealing as good as before? I can go like 5-6 fights without it stealing once. There must be a lot of dust stuck on that thing. :P

Like I said, it DOES matter whether or not your power reaces 0! Once it does, your damage will be greatly reduced and you'll take more damage then usual. It takes effect immediately, too. Trust me, it's better to fight with some power then to waste it all away!
