Mon Dec 20, 2004 8:58 pm

is this possible? has anybody had it happen before, if so, what color did it change to and what mood was it in.

Hmm.... if your pet is really disappointed, I think it would turn blue... I'm not sure though.

thats what I've heard too but I've also heard about it going read if its mad at you. I don't know if they're true or anything but they are out there (the rumors that is)

That's true also. If your pet is unhappy or angry, it has a chance of getting a RE that turns them either red or blue. This can be avoided by playing with your pet, keeping it healthy, and keeping it fed.

But if it changes to red or blue, apparently, you'll never be able to change it again

Yeah, you can definitely paint it. :)

If you really want to change your pet's color, I'd just spring for a basic color paint brush. They aren't terribly expensive. It's a lot more likely than getting the RE after making your pet sad/angry anyways. :)

I think this is just something horrible. Sure, you shouldn't neglect your pet and so on, but some people might have worked really hard to be able to paint their pet and then there might occur something that would keep them from playing with their pets etc., and then that would change the pet's color. Boo :/

Zeppeleptic, basic colored paint brushes are fairly cheap. Around 35-40 for a blue one...

You said, one day on the news if you ignore your pet, it would turn red. If your pet is painted and it turns red will it turn back to it's color once it's happy? - wonder_girl223

No I am afraid not, if you neglect your Neopet you could lose that super expensive paint job for good.

So I guess if you ignore your pet and stuff, it will to red.

Bleh, yeah. My chomby, which was originally painted fire, changed color to blue because I didn't feed it, play with it, etc. I hadn't heard about the RE and freaked out because I thought it was some random error...wrote TNT and all. >_< Now, I'm making sure to take care of my baby kougra...

Really? Ugh. Scary. I can't afford a pb...my idea of 'rich' is 20k

I think its a good thing, its they're way of trying to inflate the omelette's and teach Neopians responsibility. Be nice to your pet, or I'll make that Fire or Faerie or Baby paint job DISAPPEAR!!!

Well mine turned blue when it was sick with Neopox, I think. I couldn't heal it and and kept going to the healing springs. At that time, I didn't have the NPs to buy the stupid pizza. Mine was never ignored, but it was sick for like 3 days, so I think that is what turned it blue.
