Transferring main account help

Ok, so here's what I'm trying to do...I recently got the lab map, which I redeemed on my main account (I only have one account currently). I've decided that I want to have 4 real pets, as opposed to two real one and two lab ones (or however it works out), and use my now main account as a secondary lab/gallery account. I guess I just have a few questions...I have read the rules about multiple accounts, but I don't want to get frozen.

Am I allowed to use freebies like daily omelette and jelly (not games) on more than one account? Since I'm switching to another main account, is it ok to transfer neopoints from my current main account to my soon to be main account, or would it be better to just leave the neopoints where they are and start from scratch on the new account?

Any help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

Big no. Pick one account to do freebies on. Just to be safe, I wouldn't even alternate days. Also only play games on one account, and restock on that same account. Only use the other account for storage of pets/items.

I'd transfer np through the TP to your new account. It's how I get it over there to expand my gallery. (Although I haven't done that forever.)

So those pets on the storage account...how do I feed them? Do I buy food with money I send over (or just send food over), or take them to the soup kitchen? I realize this is a silly question, but with all the freezings going around, I would hate to be another casualty.

Also, for the transfer, can I be signed into two accounts at once on the same browser, or do I need to use different ones?

Hmmm... never thought about that. It would probably be easiest to check the pet in the neolodge for a month at 5np a night with the money you send over. It's only 140np a month and your pet is kept full and happy.

Since you probably won't keep much money on your gallery account, why not use the soup kitchen?

Thanks for the help. I've created my new account, just can't get to the trading post for 12 hours. I don't have enough money on my new account to transfer pets, so I guess I'll have to wait until I get home from school tomorrow. I really want to do it today, because of all the asparagus that are running around. I think it would be a lot safer, as I just spent money to paint my kau and bought her a new petpet.

Thanks for the neolodge suggestion. I don't know why I didn't think of that. Silly me.

That's another no-no, using the soup kitchen on other accounts. At least, that's what I was told. No games, no dailies, no stocks (so if you have any on your current soon-to-be-secondary account sell them), no scratchcards - buying or scratching, no restocking. Also don't bid on an auction from other accounts - just to be safe. I've seen people frozen for bidding on other accounts (even family member sharing an IP bidding on something ... is very weird). I don't know (but don't think) you should battle on other accounts - things like war points could gain a trophy (just like site, gallery, neohome spotlites, beauty contest, etc.). And gaining a trophy on other accounts is against the rules.

You can use the healing springs on all accounts, and you can do the free training on pet days or other special days on all accounts.

You can, as I and who knows how many people do, use the TP to send some np to the secondary account to support that account. Don't send huge amounts of np. I buy omelettes and jelly on my main account, as well as items for my gallery and use the tp to send them and some np (for shop upgrades, etc.) to my gallery, trading items that I had bought (on my main) but don't work for the gallery anymore or just a junky toy (do not use tombola items or omelettes as your secondary account trade set up).

If you get RE's on your second account you can sell them there (using the tp, shop or auction) - don't send them to your main account. And don't send np from your secondary account to your main account.

Ack! So confusing! Once I get everything set the first time, I won't really be doing anything on my soon to be second account except sending a gallery item every now and then and doing the lab zap. I'm very glad you mentioned the thing about the omlettes though, because I was planning on using those to trade. I think I've about got it though. By the way, what is considered "huge amounts of neopoints"? 10k? 100k? Somewhere in between?

I think I'll probably just keep my pets in the neolodge all the time. That seems like the easiest way.

It IS confusing! Many of us has repeatedly asked for a complete terms and conditions, or a faq page with everything listed as a "Do" and a "Don't", kind of like the Chat Rules - those are so much clearer than the T&C.

What's alot of np? Well, I've sent 50k at one time (the most I've sent), but that was for 2 shop upgrades and enough left over to send my gallery pets to the neolodge for a few days' holiday with some extras (yes I do spoil my pets ).

I do know someone who was "chain" frozen for trying to send np to another account, but they were trying to send millions doing the 800k max via the TP and did that more than once a day. I'd never send that much - makes it look like you've either been scammed, are a scammer and stealing from the account or you're trying to "hoard" or the ever truly confusing "earning np on multiple accounts".

I do have a lab account (I'm nuts, I admit) - just about all I do is adopt, heal, feed, zap until a pet turns into something cool then put in the pound and start over. I use the send to neofriend to send omelettes and jellies I've bought on my main account to that account. When the bank starts to run low (adoption fees), I have a small shop and I'll just sell one or two things - enough to get me through a few adoptions.

I'm in kind of the opposite situation at the moment. I have my main and my gallery. Bought everything in my gallery on my main and sent it over. Now I want to change the gallery some. Doing that means some things are coming out, other things need buying. Now, some of the things if I sell what I don't want I can buy the new items on the gallery account (from user shops or tp).

But what's left after that are not cheap items (a few pb) that I'd like to send BACK to my main (where they were bought) and use them to help trade for some decent bd equipment - not to sell to have a huge bank account (that'll never happen!). I don't know if I CAN send anything expensive (to me that's anything worth over 100k) from my gallery back to my main without getting in trouble.

Yeah...I remember hearing you mention that on a board before. It would be really nice if they gave us rules. Good luck with all your transferring! So now that I have money and one of my two pets transferred (will do the other one right after midnight), do I just start using my new account tomorrow? Do I need to write something in my user lookup, or will Neo just be able to tell that it's only one account doing dailies and such? Or should I just wait a day (except for the advent calendar) and not do anything?

Personally, I really wish that TNT would add a "gallery" option for our main accounts. It would work just like our regular shops, only it would be named "My Gallery". It would clear things up, and make things safer, if we all just had one account each. If we can only use secondary accounts for gallery storage, etc., it makes more sense to just add that function to main accounts.

a while ago I got a reply frmo a staffer when I emailed asking could I send items I am storing on the sub back to my main without being frozen adn I got a reply Í think so, as long as you arent dailying, you shgould be safe' you THINK!? You work there you should KNOW! it is so frustratng

if you just bought the petpet and you're not bothered about the age of it, i'd reccomend taking the petpet off the pet you're transferring, then if the worst happens and the pet gets lost in transfer you havent lost the petpet too.
