Thank-you for the automated reply.
I am, however, in strong disagreement with the conditions under which my Neopets accounts, lord_nword, nword_eagle, and nword_mule were frozen. The official statement is that these names were deemed inappropriate.
While I certainly see that there was a possible connection of wording that led to my accounts' freezings, I have found clear cause to contest this judgement. I hope you will take the time to read through my arguments and reconsider this issue.
1. The screenname lord_nword and its variants truely have absolutely no intended relation to the "n word." nword is intended to be pronounced like sword. This was the idea that was first considered when creating the alias.
2. No one has EVER complained to me about this alias; not on Neopets or anywhere else on the internet (or even in real life). I have used this name for several years, including 3.5 years on Neopets. I have only ever received a single question about the name, and the person was satisfied with my apologetic explanation.
3. I had a disclaimer on my user lookup that stated the above.
4. I am not racist. I have too many African American friends to count. (Not to mention other minorities)
5. If someone reported me, I would like to see the complaint.
6. I suspect #5, because other people with similar names have not been frozen:
accounts: fword, nword, bword, n_word, b_word
pets: fword, f_word, b_word
7. As shown by #6, my 3 accounts were the only ones to be frozen.
(lord_nword, nword_eagle, nword_mule)
8. lord_nword is definitely obscurely offensive. If I had wanted to insult someone, then I would have made it obvious. The other names listed in #6 are also obscurely offensive, although the ones with an underscore in them have a clearer meaning.
9. Just about anyone's username could be shown to be offensive in some way.
10. It took 3.5 years before you deemed my account name inappropriate!?!? My name has been on the News page (for Gallery Spotlight), and I never received a complaint.
11. Being frozen was a great birthday present. [/sarcasm]
Thank-you for your time, and I truly hope for a just consideration of this freezing.
Sincerely,
~Eric R.

Convenient.

I'm not saying it's a bad thing that they are frozen, but you know couldn't they hire someone with a dirty mind to just do those searches once a day like Val just did (not that she has a particularly dirty mind) and delete those accounts that are blaringly obvious?

But I agree...there are TONS of pet names and account names of hateful/bad nature in the system untouched. I really think when an account gets reported, they should email the complaint to the person...even if they remove the reporter's user for obvios reasons it would be a nice gesture to let people know they were reported, even if it doesn't involve being iced...

*points to above and looks at clock* I was able to find those myself in under two minutes. You'd think if it was such a concern, they'd put a filter to the database and look some of those up....*shrug*
Good luck though... Hope you get your account back. I'm sad to hear you lost your beautiful fat elephante.

However, I must say that your name on PPT made me think of that 'word' immediately, and not nword like a sword. You'd have to explain your name to everyone on Neopets who looks at your userlookup, IMHO, for you NOT to get eventually frozen.

I tried three things.
All three worked.
Yet, nword is frozen.
Crazy.
