My guess is that others on PPT will remember this person too. I felt sorry for him because his freezing seemed unfair--but I thought his tactics to get his account back were a bit extreme. He was doing a lot of name-calling.
So, I would tread lightly if I were you in making phone calls. It does no good to yell at the receptionist if she is the only way that you can get through to the people who can do something.
And, my guess, is that they have probably gotten so many calls about frozen accounts that they have a system down pat--standard answers and no way to talk to a "real" person.
I think it is much better to write a real letter to the Neopets staff--one sent via postage stamp.

One problem, though- regardless of whether or not you send a snail or e-mail, you wait months, perhaps even a year or two, before you get so much as an acknowledgement of your existance.
OmniIcyshelf wrote: People here are too optimistic. I appreciate your support and the support you give to others in times of need, but the harsh reality is that we are more likely to get frozen a second time than to get our accounts back, simply because we are "troublemakers" and started over, very likely not to "turn over a new leaf" (as though we had done anything offensive in the first place).

Unfortunately, I'm a pessimist, and although I really have no reason to, I find it largely impossible to hope that these things could happen. I don't give up, but there's something in me that tells me my efforts are futile regardless of how hard I try. This is one of those instances. I'm young, and don't know nearly as much of the world as many of those older than me here do, including you; but already I am cynical and rarely notice the sun shining through the clouds, so to speak, and even if it is, I don't ever think that sun will break through. I have been told that I have many positive qualities, and I do, but much of me only notices my own failures and insecurities in myself as well as others.
The only reason I haven't given up on this is because of the people here, because they have done things that have worked before and because of the support they give, but so far I've accomplished nothing. I've sent another e-mail, this time to mailto:vipada@neopets.com; it's likely to be blocked.
