Neopets Premium???

Can someone please tell me what exactly is gained by Neopets Premium? I am guessing they get rid of the advertisment bar..but any ideas what else? Also how much will it cost/go into operation? Any info or a place where I can find the infor would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I tryed that a lot yesterday and it says that all of the limited beta tests for the day are used up...is there any more info on that page that I am missing?

Every single time I go there (and I tried for at least once a day a few months ago, and I still try weekly) it claims that the beta is full. I don't guess TNT wants subscribers to premium too badly, or else they'd at least make it possible for the average person to access it.

Yeah. I have tried on and off at all different times of day and still get the same page..maybe there is another page to signup on?

You should try earlier in the morning, or early afternoon.

Anyway, I have Premium Neopets and I love it. It costs 7.99 a month and you get a free 15 day trial. You get your own neomail (mailto:YOURUSERNAME@Neomail.com) you get to access the portal, and you get to be a beta tester for those neat games and such that will be coming out soon. So you get an advantage over other players by being able to do all of that. You also get an avatar (the neomail addict one), plus free random events in your email, Neopoints, every friday you get to scratch a Space Faerie Scratchcard.. and sooo much more! Hope that helps!

Geez, that sounds like something to look into. When does it come out into the public, or is there no set date? Is it going to be wordwide, or just in the USA?

Yeah. If you can find that webpage let us know. Also do you have to pay a year straight up or can you pay on a month to month basis? If you go premium can you go back to regular?

Maybe try going to a slightly different url to avoid the beta testing page, and you should be able to navigate around the site from there.

I tried them all and they all bounce you back to the beta full page. Thanks for the links so I could try them. What time did you get the page to load properly so you could sign up? I am just curious.
also do you have to pay a year straight up or can you pay on a month to month basis? If you go premium can you go back to regular?

I get the impression that portal people can see the premium page all the time. In fact, I tried it in the account that alpha-tested the Portal, and I can get the Premium page, but on another account I can't. So I think portal people can get it all the time but others can only get it at certian times of day, if at all.

Im not a premium player now, but i signed up for the free trial a while ago and it took me forever to get the page to load. I cant remember what time of day I did it though, sorry!

To answer your questions though I think you can choose if you want to pay yearly or monthly although it does work out slightly cheaper to pay yearly.

And yes you can go back to being a regular player after trying or paying for premium.

I think its ridiculous that people still cant get onto the website, I shudder to think how much potential business they are missing out on because of this!

I shutter to think of the potential business they are missing from this and from blatently and without question freezeing people that would have gladly paid for premium.

My thoughts exactly. They must know there are tons of players, myself included, who would happily pay. I don't get it.

Well, that's why it's in beta mode. They need more input to make it a better thing to open up to the public. You know, make sure 100% that there's no viruses and that you'll be getting your moneys worth.
Better exciting and late than boring and early.
