Is this just me or is someone cheating???

Has anyone else noticed the ridiculously high scores for whack a kass? Last month the highest score was around 1179 and this month the highest score is 1766!! Thats a pretty big jump.

My first thought was that someone had cheated but the whole score board is full of extremely high scores and they arent the usual 3 day old accounts either.

Is there a new glitch or something because I thought that scores were monitored now?

How are all these people getting such high scores? Has the game been made easier due to the new score:NP ratio? Or has everyone just got really really good all of a sudden?

Whack a kass is a weird game. On some computers, I get a really high score. On my home one, I can bearly get to 1000. So I dunno. Tis a weird game.

Yeah but up to today the highest anyone ever got was 1180 and then all of a sudden all these absurdly high scores come up....... I just played and my score went through normally so I dont think its the scoring thing thats messed up.

I think at the end of the last month they were that ridiculously high.

Maybe they're using Flash hacks or cheats? :-/

I dont think so because TNT reviews each highscore before it's added.

I remember on NC someone posted a weird picture... instead of the usual bat, they were swinging a TREE around. They got a really high score, too... so maybe that's it.

Yup, you can get the tree and use it as a bat. It's a completely random thing -- I've talked to a few people who had it happen and they said just all of a sudden, on one turn the blumaroo was holding the tree. Kass falls from out of the sky and if you manage to whack him (a lot of people miss because they're startled), you can get really high scores.

Maybe this is in response to the scoring ratio change...? Maybe if you get the tree and get a high score, then it'll give you the points that we were all used to getting on the bat.

lol! That's great. I must have that happen to me cause Whack A Kass is my favourite game. Sadly the highest I ever managed to get was 1068 (which when I first started to play would have been the high score). i"m on a quest to get that tree now.

I want the tree, too. The other night I played for an hour and a half and didn't get the tree even once. I did get a score of 1,181, which was just enough for a bronze trophy, so I was happy.
