That's pretty close, but not quite right.
The most current word on this from the NT editor was that if you're doing a comic series that doesn't have a separate, understandable joke for each part, you have to send in the whole arc (read: a set of comics that can stand alone and is complete in and of itself) at the same time. I can't remember if Droplet's ever said anything about the matter, but this was what Snowflake had been saying for quite some time before she'd left.
If you're going to try for the Times, you might want to visit the [url=ntwriters.proboards53.com]NTWF,[/url] because there's a lot of Times regulars there, and Droplet answers questions sometimes.
I'd agree with stampsyne about the cover, though- the preview image should be used for a cover. After all, the first page would hook the reader more than a cover would.
