Congratulations! You have guessed correctly in the Mystery Pic game (Round 483). We have given you a Tooth Faerie Oven and 4740 NP!

The answer was the Master Vex collectable card.

*sigh* I know why I missed it. I was looking at the thumbnail (http://neopets.com/search.phtml?selecte ... ster%2BVex), not the large picture.

*beats head against the monitor*

Here's my attempt at a resize, in both black and white:

I looked at the thumbnail too =)

(you have to be careful with collectable cards, sometimes they take from the big picture, sometimes they take from the smaller pic when you do searches.)

And lol sillygurl. Desert related, but not recent lost desert plot related I dont think

It's a common enough place to look. Looks liek the last three have resized to 13 by 13 instead of 12 by 12. Interesting change. A bit easier to spot (for me anyways).

That might be why people on the boards haven't found it yet. I didn't use a resize to find it. Interesting point Stamp.

Whoops. Disregard my resizes, then, as they're both 12x12.

for resizes, you can usually* tell by how sharp the pixels are after you shrink it. I usually do a 11x11, 12x12, and a 13x13 and then compare them to see which one to use for the MP based on sharpness. However, this doesnt work very well when neopets only gives you a general hue, or no lines to follow.

I found it.. but so has most of the MP board on Neo... looks like another small payout...

Thanks for the help!

BTW, it's easy to just count the number of pixels, before resizing :) Good Luck on the next one!

It's easier to just count the pixels. ;) I usually magnify it a couple times and then just count the squares across. It always used to be 13x13, and then it was 12x12 for a few weeks there. I'm glad it's back to 13. I know an extra pixel pretty much makes no difference, but the number is nicer. :P

And yeah, that hint's enough. It's not in a really obscure location or anything.

I wasn't able to find it either. I've been having a lot of trouble with the mp's lately. The last one I was able to find was round 480. :o

Yeah, so I checked backgrounds, neopedia, blogs, games, the desert tcg's, desert foods...

Edit: Finally found this one. Took me a while, but I got it. :D
