Have just been on the BD chat - kaos is back and up to his usual mean-spirited tricks. CG'ers on lookups and someone got grabbed going to a gallery - was asked to go to it to see if there was anything he wanted to buy. He's gotten one good player frozen for posting one of his awful boards.

Shops are apparently "down for maintenance", so I'm taking a guess that TNT is on the case (poor people, do they ever get a break?!).

So, be careful, use your PINs, and be careful where you go. Have your user pref page open in another window or tab with your old password and a new one so if you need to shop, go to lookups, etc. so if you are directed to another site or get a weird login page you can quickly just click to change that word.

Bleh. Yet again, I'm finding a lack of any good information.

I've found one lookup that's obviously that of a cookie grabber (newbie on the Trading Chat asking for a price check on a Krawk, and one had been recently stolen from someone else)—but the lookup and shop just said " - mismatched tags - ".

That doesn't mean it's fixed yet for sure, though.

If anyone can point me to a page with a working one, I'll decipher it yet again.

*sigh*

I don't think they hack people for neo-richness... but for fun or for "glory"

I did see something about this on the Boards as well. Not only does this "kaos" who has waaay too much time on his hands to be bothering Neopia with such maliciousness but it seems that it all brings out the worst in a lot of other Neopians as well. Looks like I'll be avoiding everything for awhile.

This is ridiculous. I wish he'd find it in his heart to quit, as amusing as it might be for him. :\ Personally I'm more terrified he'll start picking on the fansites-- such as PPT.

Thank you very much for the heads up.

Grah. I'm off to implement the PIN on all my accounts. :(

Well, guess it can be a good thing to lurk at the NeoBoards: you can spot things like this. Anyway, I'm liking this PIN deal more and more. I've got it 'locked' on everything I can, even though I'm not looking to visit any shops or lookups. By the way, is there any loopholes anyone can see with the PINs? How a hacker could slip through 'em? :/ I don't want to get my guard down.

Wow..
Well... I guess I'm lucky that I got a Faerie Quest just as soon as I signed on this morning, then.
Thanks for the head's up though. I didn't have my PIN active on one or two things, but now I'm thinking it might be a good idea to change that.

Don't they have legal recourse for this? Why aren't they doing something to stop him permanently?
