I'm not sure if this is related to the release of the new pet, but there seemed to be an unusual number of decently leveled pets in the pound today. I passed over a bunch of level 2 and 3 pets, and four more between 6 and 13! What's going on? I hope people aren't dumping pets to make room for the Xweetok, maybe that's just my cynicism talking.

And thus the curse of a cute little squirrel/chipmunk/whatever dooms thousands of decent pets. I hope the find a good home.

eep...not so sound cruel or anything, but I sort of pounded a level 4 starry uni to get one... ...hehe...well I knew she would get a good home, but I know...*is shameful*

Hey, that's a good thought, I bet a lot of people are pounding a pet! I have two Grundos, a pink and a Maraquan, and I just can't decide which to get rid of... not to get the Xwee-thing though, but because I want another lab pet.

boy, if you were going to pound a starry uni, you could've at least posted it on the adoption thread first! @__@
There's no rush; these Xweetok guys aren't limited edition.

I had to abandon a red lupe named Arupin today to make room for a Xweetok. :/

I'd appreciate if someone gives him a good home! He's not very high in level, but he's got a decent name and you can't really go wrong with a Lupe. I already had 2 Lupes, I figured I didn't need a 3rd one.

I could have, but I decided to give others a chance that don't go to the adoption pages, I mean I've recieved a lot of cool pets from the pound and I want to give others a chance as well, especially since no one on the adoption boards will give one up to a newbie, and therefore people like my cousin won't get an colored pet from them, so I pound sit-ish sort of, well I've gotten a few painted pets from it, the uni, and a mutant techo, I've recieved two about lvl. 30 pets from it, a pet with sneezles, a pet with an aged mazzew, and the red buzz I used when I had a ffq to get my now plushie buzz and avatar...

Ok, well I guess that's fair - you got lots of neat pets from the pound, so you're sort of giving back. Hooray for kewl foster ppl!

if i were to suddenly gain one as a fifth pet (perhaps for my unequivicable awsomeness) it would be gone faster than you could say "even if it can be the only fifth pet im alowwed!"

I didn't pound any of my four pets. I just ran off to my spare account. *still has two spots in his only spare accounts*

If the pound starts working for me ( It's moving to the petpages.neopets when I click to disown the pets, and it says I'm not logged in >< ) I'munna end up dumping my Blue Jetsam. oo;

I found a Jelly Kougra in the pound! His name is terrible, though. I'll be putting him on the adoption thread here. *shivers* So many numbers...

Ah yes.. The curse of a new pet. Maybe some people are also desperate for the New Avatar and wanted to see if Creating/Pounding..etc One would give them the avatar... The pound just got "fuller"

Synstra, which is a wonderfully wicked name, is a plain yellow blumaroo stuck in the pound. I've abandaned and readopted her countless times because of getting robot and faerie zaps from the lab.
