I don't know if this is still the case, but I know that for awhile AOL was completely blocking ALL emails from Neopets. It was considered "spam" and the powers that be at AOL, if they get enough complaints, will simply not allow a site to send anything to anyone.

I know that Neopets can't or won't send emails to anything .rr.com, not sure if there's any others.

I do believe neopets no longer accepts yahoo e-mail accounts. Since I haven't signed up for any new accounts myself, I cannot verify.
