hmm. i wouldn't report it. i suppose you could report it and let TNT decide, but frankly, bratz dolls are more provocative than that.

it's definitly headed in the wrong direction. What's the point she's trying to make - is it neopets related? creeped me out, anyway.

In my opinion, the spaghetti string tank tops make it a slight bit too revealing. And the second one has the really short shorts.

Report it. Usually that is what I do when I come across these sorts of things.

Plus, why is a 13 year old posting four different pictures like this? That's all she says "Hi, my name is Larua I'm 13. Neomail me if you need anything". It's a little...you know.

Spells are my thing ;)

Although I greatly dislike things like this, aren't some of the Neopets Faeries dressed worst than that?

I thought they were bratz dolls?

It doesn't matter if you report or not, I think the person is the kind that wouldn't stick around for long.

You can't know that, WIS. She's played 44 games, has four pets, a shop and a neohome... and a customized lookup, which, while not the most tasteful thing around, is hardly breaking any rules.

My advice: the lookup isn't pornographic, and she doesn't say anything wrong on it. It's really not your business. Don't report some poor kid and (possibly) cause her to lose her account just because you don't like her animated gifs.

i 100% agree.

Well, I looked and nothing was there. So, someone either told her about it or TNT told her to remove it. She isn't frozen.

Just like to comment, natch. I'm Morningstar. How could I not comment? If something is pornographic, definitely report it. But, if something is purely provocative, I really think you have no business reporting it. We see quite provocative things on TV, at the beach, even in my daughter's middle school.

And, I have a good friend, a guildmate of mine, with a wonderful photo of herself on her lookup. She is wearing a cowboy hat, head tilted so you can't see much of her face, and in a black tank top. Showing wonderfully built shoulders and arms. And a bit of her cleavage is showing. And, the girl has some nice cleavage. A bit provocative. But definitely not pornographic. The photographer truly captured her essence. And, in my opinion, the photograph is quite beautiful. Not bawdy and racy.

And, hey, I am a 48 year old mom saying that.

So, unless it is truly hurting someone, is illegal, or is dangerous, best to leave it be.

My stand on anything a viewer deems 'inappropriate' but not necessarily wrong should be handled in a neomail to the user. A message that is polite, and states that 'you are concerned that somebody would report such content unneccessarily and get the account frozen' is usually enough to encourage the user to change the content.

It's always better to take a complaint about something that is borderline to the user. Something I consider offensive you might not, and something you consider offensive I might not. There's such a gray area that discussing your complaints with the user would be the better way to go about it.

A man once said with regard to pornography, "I can't define it, but I know it when I see it." If it's worth freezing a user over, then you'll know it instantly and won't have to think about it.

In this case, the images on the girl's lookup were those dolls you can create online -- they looked very much like the ones on this site. I don't see how anyone could find those dolls inappropriate for people under 13 years of age. We better hide all those teenybopper magazines and block MTV on all TVs if girls in slightly skimpy outfits are bad! God forbid a kid see a girl's stomach or shoulders -- especially when the girl in question is a cartoon doll! What is this world coming to!?!

Honestly. If this 13-year-old girl had pictures of herself in skimpy clothing on her lookup, yeah, I'd agree that should be reported (for her own safety). But I think in this case, she should have been left alone instead of having her username splashed up on PPT and reported to TNT. Poor kid.

Aunt EC here ... personally I am totally and completely sick of those dolls, but there's nothing wrong with them, per se. Yes, some of the poses/clothing choices might be a little eyebrow raising, but as was said, it's not a picture of this person.

I've seen much worse in the way of provocative - the Britney Spears, et al. lookups are alot closer to the line for a "child-friendly" site than the dolls.

It's actually against the rules to have a picture of yourself on your lookup - people have gotten warnings, including a "famous" neo member.

Yeah, well, I reported it through the premium form since they actually seem to read what you write there. I'm guessing the user got a warning and changed it, it really didn't seem like something to be frozen over. The images were not exactly offensive, it was the addition of text combined with them that was very suggestive of the user wanting 'something'.

Everyone seems to forget that perverts can easily set up an account and put things in it to make themselves look a certain way. I let TNT know in the form that perhaps this was rather innocent, but perhaps it was some dirty old pervert out trolling. It's their site, it's their judgement call. I'm rather surprised that people seem to think that the reporting user has the power to freeze...it's totally up to TNT.

They weren't like the dolls on that site, those are your standard pixel dolls that are a little provocative. These were ones with their pants pulled down past their crotch with their thong undies showing. Everything was covered, they weren't totally offensive, but like I said -we don't know who put them up, best to let TNT make the judgement call.
