Note: with the introduction of galleries to the site, shops will strictly be a place for selling your goods now. If you wish to display items, then please use the gallery feature. For your safety, all items that you currently have priced at unbuyable (100,000NPs or higher) will be reset to 0 and put back into your shop stock shortly. You are no longer be able to price items above 99,999NPs in your shop.

I guess PPT members can't have pink poogle plushies in out shops anymore, unless they're just set really high. They can't be 133,700 anymore, though. :(

I really don't understand why the limit is still at 99,999. That doesn't make sense to me. Why disable that if they don't raise the limit? o_O

Awww. So much for the 1337 pink poogle toys now. Well at least I won't have to explain to new people in the HC anymore why they can't buy such and such for 100k in shop and why asking people to price their items at 99,999 is unspeakably rude. *sigh*

I suggest everybody take their display items out of the shops even if TNT says they'll reprice them to 0. You never know if or how they'll screw it up :P

When I priced a couple of my restock items, it wouldn't let me update the prices until I changed the couple display ones from over 100k to a buyable price.

Finally! I always found it annoying that people continue to use their shops for galleries. If I wanted to see your gallery, I'd look it up! I'm at your shop to buy something, not look at the million items that you don't want to sell.

It makes no sense to keep the 99,999 np limit still! Why change that you can't have any items over 100k when you still can't have items priced over 99,999 that can be bought. Just seems like a waste to even change it.

Though there's the mentioned annoyances, I'm happy about this. It was getting annoying seeing all the things for 100,000 >.>

I think it's rediculous. Why bother changing anything at all, if they're just going to keep the 99,999 limit? Besides, maybe some people have items they want to display, but don't fit in with their gallery. You're not allowed to use the TP for safekeeping anymore, so they'd be out of options. I think this is just placing more restrictions on users' freedom of choice. This, IMO, will not have ANY benefit beyond clearing up the shop wiz a bit.

You do realize that you can customize your gallery around different themes thereby creating up to 20 different galleries? They can even have different backgrounds, shopkeepers, etc. There is absolutely no point to having unbuyable items in your shop anymore. In effect, giving you 20 more choices than you had before. Yes, all it will do is clear up the shop wiz, but that's EXACTLY what it should do.

Well i reckon that the easiest way to interpret this is that whatever is placed in shops would be buyable and all those unbuyables would go into the gallery accounts. Which kinda makes sense since you would go into a shop to buy something :D I still like the way the shops were previously too...

All I have to say about that is thank goodness.
As for the 99k limit, it's probably going to take a while for them to fix that.

I admit, I'll miss catching the rare (I think it happened for me once) occasion of someone pricing an unbuyable for 99,999 because so many people had it for 100,000.

(Well, someone was going to buy that Brain Tree Mace. . . .)

What? You don't want to sell the item, and you don't want to put it in your gallery. Then put it in your safety deposit box. Jeez, is it really that hard? Unless you like to tease people or make yourself a better target for scammers or something :loser: And yes, the trading post should be used for TRADES ONLY *eyebrow twitch*

I think this is just the start to raising the max shop wizard price (I hope)..

I think TNT will Let 99,999 be the max price for a lttle while and no longer allow people to put items in the wizard for a larger price than 99,999.

Then, after everyone is used to putting thier larger priced items and gallery items in thier SDB and galleries, they will raise the max Shop wizard price.

That way no one is confused and bothering TNT with millions of e-mails about the item they lost after they put it in thier shop at a price over 99,999.
