I just painted my pet halloween koi. :D Is there any way to know how many of them exist in Neopia?

I wish there were something like that, since I currently own 2 painted pets which i'v seen very few if any other people with them, aswell as having a lab pet that changed colors several times...

I sent the request to the editorial once or twice, but it never came up.

That would be a good feature to add, it might even help certain colours become more common

I once had a maraquan korbat and a sponge grundo and my wife had a snot poogle until recently.

I'd like to know how many others had it.

To bad it can't be done. I'll make the suggestion also. They could even make a trophy for the rarest pets.

I don't think trophies would be a good idea... Then everyone would start painting their pets to get the trophy, it would be unfair on someone who had the pet genuinely...

While it may not be the actual figures, neocolours has a section that does a guessing of popularity on colors (not broken down by pet though)...http://www.neocolours.co.uk/other/popularity.cgi?mode=colour

Yeah, I agree that they don't need another trophy, I mean shouldn't have the cool pet be your reward? But I still think it's a good idea about listing the pets and colors. Then maybe we could actually find out how many pets are painted unpopular colors speckled or glowing overall and then see how many of that color are what species.

My Pirate Kadoatie is not listed in the petpet puddle, not found in the trade or auction at the moment, and I found 13 of them in the Wizard. Is that rare?

edit: opps, I just realise you were talking about pets, not petpet. :P

ok, which is a better investment? saving up for the perfect and most expensive paintbrush or saving up 400k for the lab ray that can change my pets species and gender, but also to colors not available anywhere else?

Well, if you won't mind species and gender changes, go for the lab ray...but from what I have been able to tell, if your pet gets zapped to a species/color you cannot stand, it takes for ever for it to change into something else. :roflol:
