The Green Apple Glitch (G.A.G.)

On December 22nd, some users noticed something very odd. Instead of receiving the normal gift that was meant to be received, they received two green apples instead. Since then, every day there has been people receiving green apples instead of the correct items.

Nobody yet knows why it happens, but a fairly good guess can be made. Something (whether it be a faulty server, a random glitch, a timing issue or anything else) is causing the item giving code to go wonky sometimes. With one code telling it to give an item to the user, and another refusing to tell which item to give, the site throws a tantrum and spits out Item #1 - The Green Apple.

Its not the first time something like this has happened, the Smugglers Cove has once packed a sad and refused to give cove items, and the on-site TCGs would spontaneously turn into Green Apples when moved when they were first released. Basically, there's nothing we can do at the moment. Its a glitch, and its unlucky if it hits you, but until TNT fix it, your stuck with whatever you get.

Rumor has it that TNT have called in a doctor to fix it, but he keeps being scared away by the glitch...

I knew TNT wouldn't let us down - I love the BG.

Besides a trinket, a background is the only thing my draik can wear, so I am happy he has something new for Christmas.

Also, the ogrin in the animation, It is a rainbow one right? But I don't remember rainbow ogrins having a black body and then the rainbow mane and tail like that.

A shadow/rainbow combination would look nice though, but it just isn't possible right now. I'm going to mail the editorial and maybe they will make a shadow/rainbow paintbrush.

Yes a BG! I will say I'm surprised they didn't give out more. But there are still days left in the advent calender!

Agreed. Usually before they loop it, it fades or something. I sat there staring at my monitor for about two min waiting for something to happen.

The Pyramid's Neogardening, and the other's food. I think the candy cane's pretty cute, really.

Although i haven't been able to look at it in my neo-garden yet since for some reason it won't load (the pyramid not the whole page)

Are they going to give out any kind of wearable shirt? My lab rat is wearing an assortment of as many advent items possible, except the pants because he looks naked like that (Chombys' hindquarters are a bit scarce) so he's still wearing the potato sack... :/ Only 2 days left, hope so...

I think this animation was lacking. I've seen TNT do more creative stuffs. But the prizes are alright.
