Huh? I didn't read anything about having to pay for Photobucket...

I hope I don't... I'd have to re-upload 344 pictures!!!

They still have free their free package which is the same as they've always offered free.

then they have their premium package of unmetered/unlimited bandwidth & file/disk space and a max file size of 100mb, plus a few other extra's.

anyways for unmetered disk space & bandwidth 9 bucks for 3 months and 25 for a year is really cheap.

From what I can gather, it's still an option to have a free account.

I know but no free space!

I believe it was 50 MB or 100 MB free disk space before they started offering premium accounts. I am at 40 MB, and as of Oct. 15, I won't be able to upload anything once the premium accounts take effect. Sigh. Time to find a new image host.

I'm just curious, before the whole premium thing, how much free space was there, since now that I look this is what it says:
Album size 24.92 Mb ( 99.7% )
Dang.

Where does it say how big your album is?

EDIT: Nevermind. 19.58 MB... eeeek.

They've really cut things for people. They've now added advertisements (both banners and popups) for free packages, and the space has been reduced from 100 MB (I think?) to 25 MB.

This...royally sucks. But luckily I've only used 2.8 MB so far, so it'll last for a while longer.

It seems like anythong free on the internet of this kio=nd ends like this sooner or later...well I still have my comcast account ot upload onto though, its just horribly in-convient.

Album size 19.18 Mb ( 76.7% )

Why must all good things end? Why?

I suppose I'll just have to go back to Freewebs or 250free. :(

EDIT: 250free doesn't allow hotlinking. *grumbles*

Crap.

I'm not giving away my zip for 19.18. Time to find a new image host.
*Walks away grumbling about how this is going to turn into her last host search*
