You wouldn't want to live near one though, would you? Birds get caught in them and they're noisy as heck. I wrote an entire paper about how bad windmills are once, but unfortunately I don't still have it.

My favorite type is nuclear. Almost zero pollution and if implemented properly, very little risk. It would also last millions of years.

I heard Japan has almost figured out a way to safely dispose of the nuclear waste. :O

Nooo it was us! We did it!

After them stupid brits nucleafied an area the size of wales, we fixed it all :D Vitrification... Vilification something like that. They melt the rocks which traps the radiation, then the melted rocks are stuck down mines.

Safe as houses :)

But anyway, in 30years we'll be puttin it in rocketships and throwing it at the moon. Even safer houses. That slike... a safe house.

:D

Wind. Wind is good :)

I vote for solar power. Solar panels can be installed on roofs, taking up much less space than my second choice of wind power.

I was actually just thinking about renewable energy the other day as I received my electric/gas bill and they had a little information card and I could choose a renewable energy company to receive my power from. The downside to that right now is that it costs more to receive those types of energy. It's worth it to help the environment, but not worth it for my wallet.

The sun is shiny and energyable.

The sun. Most definetly. :D

Solar and hydrodynamic. While wind farms look cool, lots of birds can get killed by flying into them and stuff (I know the San Francisco area is having a problem with this, as apparently some of the wind farms are in migration paths).

There's a type of hydrodynamic powerstation being built off of the Gulf coast of Texas. What happens is there are these snake-type things that "ride" the waves, which generates electricity.

I think a solar house would be fun. But I really don't know that much about this stuff.
