Here are several examples of how to roleplay.

Roleplaying in the first person:
I run down the hall as arrows whiz by my head.
Second person:
You run down the hall as arrows whiz by your head.
Third person:
Lord Rhinestone Cowboy III runs down the hall as arrows whiz by his head.
Fourth person:
Why is somebody running down the--hey! Ow! That hurt!

And I thought most people paragraphed in past tense O.o

I just use chat style usually.
I don't RP a lot. I just like to make fun of it. :D
