To my Sushi,

You were a funny wee girl. When I first got you, I really didn't know what our relationship would be. You screamed at me and I fed you. You pooped and I picked it up and threw it away. You made messes in your cage and made me clean it up. You chewed apart your towels and I gave you more. You'd let your water run from the bottle and wet your floor. You'd pee on me when I upset you and once you even pooped about 9 poops on my mom (and countless others on me).

You were black and cream and you loved it when I put new hay into your cage for you to burrow in, eat and eventually pee on. You loved to have pee fights with Fugu, and I remember unhappily having to wash my walls before I moved out of my old house thanks to you. You'd steal from your baby sisters and then you'd sit on them if they made you mad.

Sushi, I love you. You held your head up high when things got rough. You didn't let heart problems, bone less or cancer really get you down. You were my fighter, my little girl. You would snuggle in my lap on a bad day and would try to rip earings out of my ears to show how much you loved me too. I'm sorry that you weren't with me longer. But even today the vet said you were obviously a special pig. In the end I spent more money on you then I ever have on one of my real live horses or dogs and I know how much you think thats hillarious. Thats why you kept trying to die. Today was special, you managed to eat some applesauce and then you snuggled with me before I took you to meet the vet. Everyone at work loved you too even though they just met you. And your imploring screams in the office during the air hockey tournament while you heard a bag rustle made so many of us smile. You've taught so many people so much about proper care and just how wonderful your weird species can be. Please Sushi, wherever you are. Be free. Pee free. And most of all may you eat your vegetables with joy.

Aw. <3 That's so incredibly sweet. She seems like such a great little guinea pig. She'll be missed.

*hugs* I'm sorry. Pets are wonderful and I wish they could live longer.

She sounded so sweet. I'm sure she loved you as much as you loved her, and she will be missed.

**hugs for Inrun**

I know that yesterday was a hard day for you and Sushi. My thoughts were with you yesterday and they will continue to be with you.

I'm sure that Sushi appreciates your wonderful eulogy for her :)

We will all miss Sushi's appearances here at the forum.

Very sweet. It can be very hard to lose a loved one such as a pet.

Rest in Peace.

We all know she's having a wonderful time peeing on something in that great Guinea Pig land up in the sky. So it's not so bad. Fugu misses her but has been taking out her upset on the little girls (who are no longer so little). Thankyou all for the kind thoughts. Sushi meant a lot to me. I've lost pets before (Luke was the most crushing, but he was more my familliar then a pet). So yup.

Pet loss. It's hard.

Aw, I'm sorry Inrun. I know how much you adored Sushi. The pig, not the food. I miss you. :(

Aww no! I still remember the first day you got Fugu and Sushi. I'm sure she's having fun in that little pet heaven up there. Terribly sorry to hear of your loss. :\

Going to the basement just isn't the same without her trying to pee on me... so the other girls have taken up her cause. I was cuddling Shrimp today and she was snuggled on my shoulder, eating my beautiful new and short hair (MAJOR haircut today), and... she peed on my face.

She was like an inch from my mouth when I was talking and I was all "OIY YOU LITTLE... YOU PEED ON MY FACE! MY MOUTH WAS OPEN... YOU... WENCH".

She was pleased.

... guinea pigs are evil. Anyone want 3?

-hugs- I'm sorry to hear about your loss. It was hard when my guinea pig died, much quieter. :(
