What is your religion? Please note that this thread is just a survey of what everyone believes in (which IMO is one major aspect we don't know about each other yet), and not to discuss religion or comment on other's beliefs. So just state your religion will do.

I'm Agnostic but I have strong interests in religion, if I happen to find someone who is very dedicated to their religion I'll start asking millions of questions so I can find out more.

Well, see, this is where it gets complicated

I come from a family where many are Jehovah’s Witnesses, and yes of course, I have been affected by that and it's nothing I regret or am ashamed of. Still there are some things their way of seeing issues around them I don't agree with. Alas I'm not a "real" Jehovah’s Witness and I've never been baptized into it either.

Continuing on that I was not baptized into the Christian church here either, like most kids are (Lutheran), and I'm very glad for that. I'm not going to start to mock any religion here, but let's just say I'm glad I'm not part of that Christian movement.

Ok, so here comes another part. I've been reading a lot, an it turns out that I share most of my beliefs with reform Jews, so shalom to everyone

The most important thing to me is not to classify what I believe in or be a part of a larger religious group, knowing I have my faith and that it is a great support in my life is enough.

I'm Muslim hence part of the religion Islam.

Also, isn't Catholicism just a branch off Christianity?

There's a lot of sects of Christianity that wern't included as well.

I think I'm a tad more of a Theist than a Catholic, but meh.

Yeah, I don't really see why you (Qanda) chose Catholisism in particular to be an option. Ok so it's a big "part" of Christianity, but still, what about the Greek-Orthodox church, Protestants (Lutherans, Anglicans...) etc.?

I don't think he meant anything by it, other than it being a rather large part of the Christianity tree.

Clarification: I listed Christianity and Catholicism separately because they are usually considered as separate beliefs, and there are a large amount of believers for either side, so I thought they should each qualify for a category of their own.

Also, there were only a limited number of options I could use for the poll, so I could not list every major religion. My apologies for missing out yours, if I did. Just select "others" and state what your religion is.

And lastly, remember not to discuss or criticise, or this thread may be locked if things get unpleasant...

Seriously. I don't think my beliefs fit into any of the categories listed, or even any others that I could think of.

It's a bit frustrating, really.

I'm not an Agnostic, but I'm not a Christian either.. I'm somewhere inbetween, I think.
