I really don't see the point in moving them, and I think it would be more detrimental to the historical signifigance than anything. So they're Welsh rocks... I'm sure the United States has some rocks/soil/what-have-you from Canada and you don't see them rushing over the border to take them back. It was built there, and it should stay there.

The whole thing with the mayan ruins/egyptian pyramids/stonehenge is all very interesting to me. I can't even count how many books I've read on those things. 0_o

Its claimed to reside in about 50 different place, mostly scattered throughout africa.

How would they move it? Just put the rock things on a plane and map out where to drop them, or something?

And doesn't EVERY country/area import rocks and other stuff from other countries? What's the difference between diamonds taken from Africa and brought to the US and this?

Ethiopians are the most zealous about it.

Right. Which means they should give it to me. I'll take Stonehenge as well. :)

Gamma radiation is a part of nuclear radiation and of course! I'd have no use for an ark that falls short of such requirements!

Meh, so sue me...I never remember science. Do you think it'll come with any extra features like jumbo cup holders?

I don't know, I think they should just leave them there. It's been there for such a long time.

lol reading through this topic I couldn't help but think about the stonehenge part in This Is Spinal Tap. ;)

rightfully yours eh?
my brother reminded me of something so i had a lok at stonehenges age, dated to be ATLEAST 10,000 years old...tell me, where were all the welsh back then?
ok you probably dont know, i however do, ireland...
yeah, wales was inhabited by either A; no-one anyway.
or more likely B: the brits.
the brits built it over 10,000 years ago, we dragged a dozen honking great rocks across the country, then put them on end to make a damn sun dial, you want it, you come and get it the way we took it, with a couple dozen people and some rope.

as for the arc, its supposed to be in egypt (under the great sphinx suposedly) and it werent radiation, it was holy spirit stuff.

Um, you were the Britons Tribe back then. Us welsh people have been around for thousands of years. With an ancient language that's still strong. Tell me, why couldn't you englishmen have put them on a cart with wheels. Serves you all right, back-breaking labour bringing those stones there.

er no im afraid not dear, the scots hadnt left ireland yet, and wouldnt do for some time, you are the outsiders, wales was our country until the romans came along and distributed it a bit more (and if you wanna get pedantic im roman too, hence the nose and chin) then came the norse who distributed it again (once more, ditto, hence the high sloping forehead and the arthritus-ish stuff)
and yes, we pulled the stones several hundred miles, the wheel having not actually been invented yet, and any labour animals being untamed, and ergo, quite likely to give you a good kicking anyway.
like i say, you want it, come get it.

edit: and another thing, have you actually SEEN stone henge in person?
itd take a good 40 footer flat bed lorry to move the things now, o a wooden cart wouldnt have helped, or are you going to say we shouldve invented the 40 ton lorry 10,000 years ago too?

I love the accuracy of that statement, seeing as first off Stonehenge isnt 10,000 years old. Its somewhere around 5000 years old. And secondly it is a known fact that Wales was inhabited around 250,000 bc (The lower paeolithic age) But settlement didnt really begin until 10,000 years ago.
Which im afraid completly proves you wrong.

(My Small-ish Welsh sid) Just let Wales claim the rights to Stonehenge and leave it there!

Or (My English Side): The Welsh technically built Stonehenge in England. If a builder from another country comes to build your house, does it belong to the other country? I don't think so.

I seem like a ditzoid....
