It's not required at our school, but personally I'd like some books to read, summer gets really, really boring.

Yep-- my school has summer reading. But only for the honor students. Which makes no sense, because most of the people in honors classes would read during the summer, anyways. *shakes head* Anyways, my school just sent out a list of books we can choose from. We're supposed to read a book off the list, then do a report or project about it. Bleech.

I still read during summer break. But I never like the books on the list. Bo-ring.

I have summer reading. Every year starting last year. :( What's worse, we also have to projects and show them to of all of 8th grade gifted. It's only 2 books and 2 projects though, so I'll live...I think ;)

Not summer reading, but summer school for me.

I don't really get how summer reading works. I know its reading for school in the summer, but if your going up in grades... how does it work? I don't know...

Yea, 7 books. Haven't started yet though. I also have to write an essay for four of them.

I started reading it. Has this dope ever heard of NOT using run on sentences? I hate it so far. Everybody said it was 'ohsofunny', but now that I'm reading it for myself, the jokes are really just overused and horrible. Bleh. I'm using Sparknotes or something.
