I'm agreein' with the person who listed sporks as the best invention ever...I think every ramen noodles container should be equipped with a handy spork so you don't have to go hunting around your apartment or dorm room for an eating utensil. A college student's wishful thinking.... :P

*bow*
I'm thinking on the same lines as you, m'dear.
I wonder if you can purchase sporks at a retail store or a supermarket. I have yet to study the plastic utensil aisle extensively, but I think I'm going to do so the next time I'm at the store.

Kim, I've never seen a spork in a shop :(

To re-enforce the reputation I've now got among a couple of people, I'd have to say that my favourite invention is... the toaster.

Jim, that's horrible!
But for some reason I found it hilarious.

I'd think the best invention would have to be... the battery. So many idiots would still be here if not for licking car batteries!

Jim that's horrible and we really did not want to know that.

I would have say the Best Invention is the lightblub as without it we would still be using candles now.

I think electricity in general is the best invention of the human race, without just all things listed above would be near impossible, unless you had a steam powered air conditioner or something, steam powered guitars...hmm.

You mean generating and using electricity? Electricity was always there.

Well yeah, electricity in a controlled form as a way to pwer everything of coarse, a generator as you said.

The spectacles. I wouldn't be able to see what I'm typing without my glasses. Shoes are nifty too, I can't imagine walking barefooted outdoors.
